I. Log on TexConnect Online User Guide Above is the logon page. From time to time, this page will contain important reminders and notifications. Be sure to read any announcements that you see on this page. In order to log into the system, enter the five-digit location number that was assigned to you by TexPool, the six-digit Personal Identification Number (PIN) that was mailed to you and the password that you have created. Once you correctly enter this information, you will enter the system. For instructions on creating and resetting your password, please reference the Create Password and Reset Password sections on the pages 3 and 4. Note: All location numbers begin with the number seven. 06-12 2

A. Create Password TexConnect Online User Guide In order to create a new password in TexConnect, click on the Create Password button from the logon screen after entering your location and pin numbers. The Create Password screen will then appear. Complete all required fields noting that passwords are case sensitive and must be between 8 and 16 characters. They may include letters, numbers or symbols with the exception of < or >. Passwords will be valid for a period of six months. At that point you will be directed to the Update Profile screen to create a new password. Click on Submit to confirm the creation of your password and to return to the logon screen. 06-12 3

Reset Password TexConnect Online User Guide If you have forgotten your password, but remember the answer to your security question; use the Reset Password function to create a new password by entering your location and pin numbers and clicking Reset Password. Remember that passwords are case sensitive, must be between 8 and 16 characters, can include letters, numbers and symbols except for < and >. Click Submit to confirm the creation of your password and to return to the logon screen. If you have forgotten your password and do not remember the answer to your security question, contact TexPool Participant Services to have your password reset. 06-12 4

II. Disclaimer TexConnect Online User Guide Be sure to click on the enter button with your mouse to move onto the next screen. The first time you log into TexConnect you will be presented with this disclaimer page. The disclaimer states the following information: You authorize TexPool to act on the instructions that you are giving to us by entering information electronically into TexConnect. You agree to comply with the Operating Procedures. You are responsible for keeping your PIN confidential. You are responsible for choosing an Internet Provider. You are aware of the risks involved with using the Internet. Either the Participant or TexPool may terminate use at any time. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the Enter button to proceed. If you have problems viewing the enter button, expand your screen fully. If you still have difficulties, contact TexPool Participant Services for assistance. Once you have clicked on the Enter button, the Pool Information page will be displayed. 06-12 5

III. Pool Information TexConnect Online User Guide The Pool Information page displays the current performance information for TexPool and TexPool Prime. This information is updated daily. Use the TexConnect menu bar at the top of the page to navigate through the system. The menu shows all of the transaction functions on the top line while the inquiry functions are on the second line. 06-12 6

IV. A. Deposit Transactions TexConnect Online User Guide Choose your account number from the drop down box OR choose the pool from the pool drop down box and enter your account number in the account number box. To place a deposit into TexPool or TexPool Prime, click on Deposit on the menu bar. The above screen will be displayed. At this point, you must make the following selections: Enter your account number by selecting it from the drop down box or by choosing the pool (from the pool drop down box) and entering your account number in the account number field. Choose wire or ACH (Automated Clearing House) as your settlement method. o By selecting wire, you must initiate a wire at your bank to be sent to TexPool on the settlement date of your deposit. o By selecting ACH, TexPool will initiate the transfer of funds from your bank to TexPool on the settlement date. Enter the dollar amount of your deposit. Choose current (same day for wires or next business day for ACH) or future settlement. If you choose to future date or preload your transaction, you must enter a settlement date up to 90 days in advance. Once you have completed this screen, click on the Next button to view the ACH Deposit Bank Instruction Selection Screen for an ACH deposit, or the Deposit Transaction Review Screen for a wire deposit. 06-12 7

Select your banking instructions by clicking on the radio button next to the instructions you wish to use. If you have selected an ACH deposit, the ACH Deposit Bank Instruction Selection Screen will appear. This will allow you to choose your banking instructions. Once you have done so, click on Submit. The Deposit Transaction Review Screen will now appear. 06-12 8

This screen allows you to review your transaction before it is submitted. Review this screen carefully before clicking on Submit. Once you are confident that your transaction is correct, choose Submit to receive your confirmation number on the Deposit Preliminary Confirmation Screen. Make note of your confirmation number. This shows that you have successfully entered your transaction. The Preliminary Confirmation Screen appears once your transaction has been submitted. Please print this screen or make a note of your confirmation number. This is your confirmation that TexPool has received your Deposit transaction. An official confirmation statement will be mailed to you once the deposit has settled to your account. 06-12 9

B. Withdrawal TexConnect Online User Guide Choose your account number from the drop down box OR choose the pool from the pool drop down box and enter your account number in the account number box. To place a withdrawal from TexPool or TexPool Prime, click on Withdrawal on the menu bar. The above screen will be displayed. At this point, you must make the following selections: Enter your account number by selecting it from the drop down box or by choosing the pool (from the pool drop down box) and entering your account number in the account number field. Choose wire or ACH (Automated Clearing House) as your settlement method. o By selecting wire, TexPool will initiate a wire to your bank, which will be sent on the settlement date of your withdrawal. o By selecting ACH, TexPool will initiate the transfer of funds to your bank on the settlement date. Enter the dollar amount of your withdrawal. You may liquidate your entire account by checking the full liquidation box, however, this option may only be chosen if you are liquidating current day by wire. Unless you have directed us otherwise, your interest will be included when you check the full liquidation box. Choose current (same day for wires or next business day for ACH) or future settlement. If you choose to future date or preload your transaction, you must enter a settlement date. Once you have completed this screen, click on the Next button to proceed to the Withdrawal Bank Instruction Selection Screen. 06-12 10

Select your banking instructions by clicking on the radio button next to the instructions you wish to use. This screen will allow you to choose the banking instructions by selecting the radio button to the left of the instructions that you wish to have your withdrawal proceeds sent to. By housing multiple banking instructions, you have the ability to process your own vendor or third party payments. Once you have made your selection, click on Submit to proceed to the Withdrawal Transaction Review Screen. This screen allows you to review your transaction before it is submitted. Review this screen carefully before clicking on Submit. Once you are confident that your 06-12 11

transaction is correct, choose Submit to receive your confirmation number from the Withdrawal Preliminary Confirmation Screen. Make note of your confirmation number. This shows that you have successfully entered your transaction. The Preliminary Confirmation Screen will appear once your transaction has been submitted. Please print this screen or make a note of your confirmation number. This is your confirmation that TexPool has received your Withdrawal transaction. Once your transaction has settled you will receive an official confirmation statement in the mail. 06-12 12

C. Transfer TexConnect Online User Guide Choose your account number from the drop down box OR choose the pool from the pool drop down box and enter your account number in the account number box for the account you wish to move money FROM. Choose your account number from the drop down box OR choose the pool from the pool drop down box and enter your account number in the account number box for the account you wish to move money TO. To place a transfer between TexPool or TexPool Prime accounts, click on Transfer on the menu bar. The above screen will be displayed. Note: This option can be used to transfer from one TexPool account to another TexPool account, from one TexPool Prime account to another TexPool Prime account, or between TexPool and TexPool Prime accounts. At this point, you must make the following selections: Enter the account number you want to transfer from by selecting it from the top drop down box or by choosing the pool (from the pool drop down box) and then entering your account number in the account number field. Enter the account number you want to transfer to by selecting it from the lower drop down box or by choosing the pool (from the pool drop down box) and then entering your account number in the account number field. Enter the dollar amount of your transfer, or choose the full transfer box if you wish to transfer your entire balance and accrued interest. Choose current (same day) or future settlement. If you choose to future date or preload your transaction, you must enter the settlement date. Note: Due to system limitations, full transfers cannot be performed as future dated transactions. Once you have completed this screen, click on the Next button to proceed to the Transfer Transaction Review Screen. 06-12 13

Review this screen carefully before clicking on Submit. Once you are confident that your transaction is correct, choose Submit to receive your confirmation number on the Transfer Preliminary Confirmation Screen. Make note of your confirmation number. This shows that you have successfully entered your transaction. The Preliminary Confirmation Screen will appear once your transaction has been submitted. Please print this screen or make a note of your confirmation number. This is your confirmation that TexPool has received your Transfer. Once your transfer has settled, you will receive an official confirmation statement in the mail. 06-12 14

V. Multi Transaction TexConnect Online User Guide The Multi Transaction function offers faster transaction entry by allowing you to place your transactions using only two transaction screens. When using the Multi Transaction function, you will select all of the pieces of your transaction on the same screen. This task differs from the traditional transaction entry method which can take up to five transaction screens. Multi Transaction can be used to place deposits, withdrawals, and transfers. Click on the Multi Transaction option on the Menu bar. To use the Multi Transaction facility, click on the Multi Transaction link on the menu bar. The above screen will be displayed. Select the type of transaction from the drop down box next to the account in which you wish to place the transaction. TexPool and TexPool Prime are listed separately on the account/transaction selection screen. After you choose the transaction type, you will automatically be taken to the transaction entry screen. 06-12 15

Please see the step by step instructions in the following pages to learn how to place deposits, withdrawals, and transfers. Note: If you place your transaction after the Pool cutoff, you will automatically be given the next day s transaction date. 06-12 16

A. Deposits TexConnect Online User Guide To place a deposit into TexPool or TexPool Prime, choose either Deposit Wire or Deposit ACH, from the drop down box next to the pool and account in which you wish to place the transaction. 06-12 17

Next, on the transaction entry screen, make the following selections: Enter the dollar amount of your deposit. If you are entering a Deposit ACH, choose your banking instructions from the drop down box. Select current (same day for wires or next business day for ACH) or future settlement. If you choose to future date or preload your deposit, you must enter a settlement date. Click Submit. When you click Submit, you will be brought back to the account/transaction selection screen. Your transaction will be listed in the Most Recent Transaction column and your confirmation number will appear in the Confirm Number column. 06-12 18

After each transaction has been submitted, the Transaction Entry Summary at the bottom of the screen will note the number of transactions performed. During your session, this is updated after each transaction. Note: If you require a confirmation, please note the confirmation number and use the Confirmation Report under the Reports section to retrieve a copy. Note: If you click on another option in TexConnect, your recent transactions session will no longer be listed on the account/transaction selection screen. You will need to retrieve your confirmation number from the Settlement Report. 06-12 19

B. Withdrawals TexConnect Online User Guide To place a withdrawal from TexPool or TexPool Prime, choose either Withdrawal Wire or Withdrawal ACH from the drop down box next to the pool and account in which you wish to place the transaction. 06-12 20

On the transaction entry screen, make the following selections: Enter the dollar amount of your withdrawal. You may liquidate your entire account by checking the full liquidation box, however, this option may only be chosen if you are liquidating current day by wire. Unless you have directed us otherwise, your interest will be included when you check the full liquidation box. Select the banking instructions the withdrawal is settling to from the drop down box. Choose current (same day for wires or next business day for ACH) or future settlement. If you choose to future date or preload your transaction, you must enter a settlement date. Click Submit. When you click Submit, you will be brought back to the account/transaction selection screen. Your transaction will be listed in the Most Recent Transaction column and your confirmation number will appear in the Confirm Number column. 06-12 21

C. Transfers TexConnect Online User Guide To place a transfer from TexPool or TexPool Prime to another TexPool or TexPool Prime account, choose Transfer from the drop down box next to the pool and account in which you wish to place the transaction. 06-12 23

On the transaction entry screen, make the following selections: Enter the dollar amount of your transfer. You may move the entire balance of your account to another TexPool or TexPool Prime account by checking the Full Transfer box. Choose the pool and account you are transferring to. Choose current or future settlement. If you choose to future date or preload your transaction, you must enter a settlement date. Click Submit. When you click Submit, you will be brought back to the account/transaction selection screen. Your transaction will be listed in the Most Recent Transaction column and your confirmation number will appear in the Confirm Number column. 06-12 24

VI. Vendor Payment TexConnect Online User Guide The Vendor Payment option will allow you to make a payment to a pre-established vendor. Click on the Vendor Payment option on the Menu bar. To make or schedule a future dated Vendor payment, click on the Vendor Payment option on the menu bar. The above screen will be displayed. Select the account number you wish to use from the drop down box. Click Next. 06-12 26

From the drop down box, choose the vendor associated with the payment you are making. Click on the Select Vendor drop down box to choose your Vendor. At this point, you must make the following selections: Choose wire or ACH (Automated Clearing House) as your settlement method. o By selecting wire, TexPool will initiate a wire to your Vendor s bank, which will be sent on the selected settlement date. o By selecting ACH, TexPool will initiate the transfer of funds to your bank on the settlement date. Enter the dollar amount of your payment. o NOTE: If you choose to liquidate your entire account by entering the total balance in the amount box, all accumulated interest may be sent to the Vendor. Contact the TexPool Participant Services at 1-866-839-7665, option 1 if you do not want your interest to be sent with your payment. o NOTE: Liquidations can only be done by wire. Choose current (same day for wires or next business day for ACH) or future settlement. If you choose to future date or preload for payment, you must enter a settlement date. Enter Invoice Information. Please enter only letters, number or spaces in the information field. Special characters may not be used. NOTE: When entering your payment specific invoice information, TexPool can only transmit 22 characters for ACH payments and 35 characters for Wire payments. If you require additional space, please utilize the Special Wire Instructions Form. 06-12 28

Once you have completed your entries, click on Next to proceed to the Vendor Payment Transaction Review screen. This screen allows you to review your transaction before it is submitted. Review this screen carefully before clicking on Submit. Once you are confident that your transaction is correct, choose Submit to receive your confirmation number from the Vendor Payment Preliminary Confirmation screen. The Preliminary Confirmation Screen will appear once your transaction has been submitted. Please print this screen or make a note of your confirmation number. This is your confirmation that TexPool has received your payment. Once your transaction has settled you will receive an official confirmation statement in the mail. 06-12 29

VII. Maintenance To maintenance your account information via TexConnect Online, click on Maintenance from the menu bar. From here, you have the capability to update your mailing address, phone and fax numbers and email address. Note: If you wish to change the location name or an account name, please complete an Account Change Form located on www.texpool.com under Participant Services and Participant Account Maintenance Forms. 06-12 30

Complete all of the required fields as well as those that you wish to change. If you are authorized on more than one location, please note the location numbers in which the information is changing or check the box to indicate all of the locations you are authorized with. Once you have entered all the information you wish to update, click Submit. The following screen will be displayed. 06-12 31

VIII. Reports TexConnect Online User Guide Move your mouse over the Reports option on the menu bar to display all six report options. When you move your mouse over the word Reports on the menu bar, you are presented with six options. Choose any of the following: Settlement Report Allows you to view all pending deposits, withdrawals, transfers and direct deposits for your accounts. This report is divided in two sections: Current Day Settlement and Future Dated Settlement. Current Settlement: Wire Activity Displays any wire transactions due to settle today. ACH Activity Displays any ACH transactions entered today for next day settlement. In addition, this section also displays any ACH transactions previously entered as future dated that are due to settle today. o Transfer Activity Displays any transfer activity due to settle today. Direct Deposit Settlement Displays any direct deposit transactions that are due to settle today. Future Dated Settlement Displays any future dated transactions that are still pending. On the settlement date, the transaction will appear in either the Wire, ACH or Transfer Activity sections under Current Settlement. 06-12 32

Account Information Report Lists pertinent information on your accounts such as your authorized representatives, banking instructions, and contact information. Interest Distribution Report Can be accessed on the first business day of the month to obtain the amount of interest paid on each of your accounts. Account History Report Provides transactional information including the settlement date, dollar amount, type of transaction, and balance following the transaction on a selected account. Daily Allocation Factor Report Allows you to view the one-day allocation factor for TexPool and TexPool Prime. Interest History Report Displays the daily allocation factor and one-day net yield for TexPool and/or TexPool Prime for a specified time period. Confirmation Report Provides transaction details for a specific confirmation number. Vendor Information Report Lists Vendor information on your accounts such as authorized representatives, account name and vendor banking instructions. Vendor Payment History Report Provides transactional information including the settlement date, transaction date, dollar amount, account balance and transaction description by account number and vendor name. Vendor Payment Confirmation Report Allows you to view a confirmation of a Vendor Payment entered. The report shows the transaction details based on the account number, vendor and payment made. 06-12 33

Once you have selected the report you wish to view, the following selection screen will appear. The following options are available for viewing a report: Screen Report will appear on your screen and may be printed. Download Report may be downloaded to your computer in either a.doc (Word type file) or.csv (Excel type file) format. 06-12 34

IX. Report Scheduler TexConnect Online User Guide The Report Scheduler allows nine of the available reports to be established for automatic delivery to the Report Access section for viewing. An email notification will be sent to the requested recipient(s) when the report is generated. To schedule a report, click on the Report Scheduler option on the menu bar. The above screen will be displayed. You must now choose the report that you wish to schedule. From the drop down box, choose one of the following report options and click Submit. Create a new scheduled report by clicking on the Add button. Once you have chosen the report you wish to schedule, the above screen will be displayed. Click on the Add button to schedule the report and you will be taken to the following Report Scheduler screen. 06-12 36

There are several options available for delivering your reports. The following four fields must be completed, prior to submitting your request. Report Format Choose the format that you wish to receive the report in from the report format drop down box. The following options are available: Email doc The report will be available for viewing in a Word file (.doc). Email csv The report will be availing for viewing in an Excel file (.csv). Email Address In the first box provided, type the email address for where the email notification is to be delivered. Only one email address may be entered per box. A total of six email addresses may be added per scheduled report, however only individuals with a PIN authorized for your location will be able to log on and access these reports. Frequency of Delivery Choose when you would like to receive the report from the Frequency of Delivery drop down box. The following options are available: Every Monday Every Tuesday Every Wednesday Every Thursday Every Friday Every Business Day 1 st Business Day 2 nd Business Day 3 rd Business Day 4 th Business Day 5 th Business Day Middle (15 th ) & Last Business Day Last Business Day Time of Delivery Choose the time of day you would like to receive the report by selecting a time from the Time of Delivery drop down box. The times range from 3:00 a.m. 9:00 p.m., EST. 06-12 37

Click on Submit to schedule your report for electronic delivery. Once all four fields are completed, click on the Submit button to schedule your report. The screen on the following page will be displayed. The delivery options you previously selected are displayed on this screen along with four additional buttons. 06-12 38

View Report Clicking this button will send you an immediate email notifying you that the on demand copy of your report is available for viewing in the Report Access section. Add This button will allow you to schedule an additional report of the same type that is currently displayed. Modify This button enables you to make changes to the parameters of the highlighted report. This option can be used for a change in an email address, if you would like to change the time or method of delivery, or if you would like to add an additional Authorized Representative s email address. Delete If you no longer want to receive a scheduled report, click the Delete button. This will delete the request for all email addresses within the selected report. After modifying or deleting a scheduled report, you may also be presented with two other buttons. They are Previous 30 and Get Next 30. These buttons can be used to navigate to the beginning or end of your scheduled report listing. NOTE: In order to schedule a different report, you must click the Report Scheduler option on the blue menu bar. X. Report Access Report Access allows you to retrieve and view your scheduled reports. To access a scheduled report, click on the Report Access option on the menu bar. The above screen will display. You can now choose the scheduled report that you would like 06-12 39

to view from the drop down box or by typing in the Report ID number found in your e- mail notification. Click on Submit to access your report. Once you have chosen the report you would like to view, click submit. A File Download box will appear and ask if you would like to open or save the file. Open To open the file on your screen you will click open and the report will appear in the requested format. Save To save the file, click save and your computer will display saving options specific to your computer. Reports will remain available for viewing for 30 days. 06-12 40

XI. Statements TexConnect Online User Guide A. Electronic Statements Move your mouse over the Statements option on the menu bar to view the electronic statement option. When you move your mouse over the word Statements on the menu bar, you are presented with the option to view your Electronic Statements, the Summary Statement and the Custom Summary Statement. Choose Electronic Statements to view account statements for each individual account. Once you have chosen Electronic Statements, the above screen will appear. Select the account number that you wish to view a statement for and click the Next button. The following screen will appear. 06-12 41

Select the statement you wish to view by clicking on the appropriate date. Select the statement that you wish to view. Once you click on the month, the statement listing will appear on your screen. You may also view any inserts that may have been included with your month end statement. Statements and inserts may be printed by choosing the print option on your internet browser. The Electronic Statement that is displayed is an exact copy of the statement that is mailed to you each month. Your statements will continue to be mailed to you each month. 06-12 42

B. Summary Statement TexConnect Online User Guide The Summary Statement is a statement that summarizes your accounts on a single document. It includes the beginning balance, total deposits, withdrawals, and interest, as well as, the current and average balances for each account. To access, click on Statements and choose Summary Statement from the drop down. Move your mouse over the Statements option on the menu bar to view the Summary Statement option. Choose either the current month or a prior month s statement. When choosing the prior month, enter the month and year of the statement. Note: Statements will only be available starting with September 2009. 06-12 43

Next, choose your viewing option. The statement is available on screen or downloaded into either doc or csv formats. Choose either to view the statement on screen or download into doc or csv formats. 06-12 44

C. Custom Summary Statement The Custom Summary Statement is a statement that also summarizes your accounts on a single document but is specific to the time frame chosen. Utilizing the Summary Statement data, it includes the beginning balance, total deposits, withdrawals, and interest, as well as, the current and average balances for each account for the time frame selected. Choose your From and To date from the appropriate drop down boxes. Custom Summary Statement data is available for up to two years. 06-12 45

Also, choose your delivery method, from either on screen or downloaded into doc or csv formats. 06-12 46

XII. Inquiry In order to access the options under the Inquiry function, move your mouse over the word inquiry. This will display your two options: Portfolio Inquiry and Transaction History. When you move your mouse over the word Inquiry on the menu bar, you are presented with two options: Portfolio Inquiry and Transaction History. Portfolio Inquiry will allow you to view the balances on all of your TexPool and TexPool Prime accounts, as well as, your month to date accrued interest. Transaction History will allow you to view the transaction history on a selected account. 06-12 47

A. Portfolio Inquiry TexConnect Online User Guide By clicking on an account number you can view the transaction history for that account. If you have chosen Portfolio Inquiry, the above screen will be displayed. This screen lists all of your accounts, along with their balance and the month to date accrued interest as of the date indicated. Scroll to the bottom of the Portfolio Inquiry screen to see the total balance of your TexPool and TexPool Prime accounts, as well as the grand total of your investments in TexPool and the total month to date accrued interest. Click on an account number to view the Transaction History for the selected account. 06-12 48

B. Transaction History TexConnect Online User Guide If you selected Transaction History from the Inquiry menu or by clicking on your account number on the Portfolio Inquiry screen, the above screen will be displayed. This screen lists the date your transaction settled, the type of transaction, the dollar amount, and the confirmation number. 06-12 49

XIII. Change Location TexConnect Online User Guide If you have selected the Change Location option from the menu bar, the logon screen will appear. You only need to enter a new location number. You do not need to re-enter your PIN number to access a new location. Only those Authorized Representatives who have access to more than one location will utilize this function. 06-12 50

XIV. Contact Us TexConnect Online User Guide In order to send an email to TexPool, all fields marked with a red star must be populated. Choose the Help/Contact Us option if you need to contact TexPool Participant Services for any reason. Be sure to complete all information on this page so that we may get back to you as quickly as possible. These requests are reviewed throughout the day for same day turnaround. If you are having difficulty entering a transaction, please call us for assistance during normal business hours at 1-866-839-7665. 06-12 51

XV. Update Profile TexConnect Online User Guide The Update Profile screen can be used for several purposes. It can be used to update your password, email address or security question at any point in time by clicking on the Update Profile link on the menu bar. It is also used to update your password once it expires. This occurs six months after your password was created. On this screen, you must enter your current password, the answer to your previously created security question in order to provide updates. You may then enter only the information you wish to update with TexPool. For example, if you are updating your password, you would enter your current password and security question answer, followed by an entry in the New Password and Confirm New Password fields. You are not required to enter your email address or answer a new security question. Once you have updated the appropriate information, click on Submit to update your information with TexPool. 06-12 52

XVI. Log Out TexConnect Online User Guide By selecting Log Out from the menu bar, you have successfully logged yourself out of TexConnect. You may also log out of the system by closing your browser. In the event that you would fail to log out of the system, a time out has been built in to automatically log you out after fifteen minutes of inactivity.
