What s New What s New TAM E-SSO: Kiosk Adapter delivers a secure, easy to use and easy to administer solution that addresses the needs of traditional Single Sign-Off in a kiosk environment. This solution provides user identification to the kiosk by prompting users to log into an LDAP directory. What s New in 5.0 Support for TAM E-SSO: Desktop Password Reset Adapter This release includes support for the TAM E-SSO: Desktop Password Reset Adapter product. A link to TAM E-SSO: Desktop Password Reset Adapter can been added to the TAM E-SSO: Kiosk Adapter s home page. This allows users to reset their own kiosk password (AD via LDAP auth) using TAM E-SSO: Desktop Password Reset Adapter. Please see the TAM E- SSO: Kiosk Adapter Installation and Setup Guide for instructions on setting up this link. Localization Support TAM E-SSO: Kiosk Adapter s strings and displayable resources are all localizable. Central Administration GUI based Administrative Console provides configuration and control over all session and application shutdown parameters. Session Control Kiosk session control (full life cycle) without requiring Windows OS login/logoff cycle. TAM E-SSO: Kiosk Adapter has a replacement GINA which allows a single session logon and then routes all activity to the TAM E-SSO: Kiosk Adapter Agent. TAM E-SSO: Kiosk Adapter Agent controls session by controlling and interacting with TAM E-SSO and desktop applications. Session Locking Sessions can be locked via the screen saver timer, TAM E-SSO: Kiosk Adapter Agent tray icon Lock Session feature, Windows Key + L (on XP and above), or CTRL + ALT + DELETE. Any activity that would normally lock the desktop will cause SM to lock the session. Session Unlocking Session can be unlocked as the current session owner.
