Milestone Technical Configuration Level 2 Training Workshop Agenda Note: Each participant must bring a laptop with wireless connectability and a modern browser capable of accessing the internet. Additional technical equipment information is on page 5. Workshop description In the Technical Configuration Level 2 training workshop, participants are introduced to real-life scenarios that use advanced features of the XProtect Corporate VMS. During the workshop, participants act as Integration Engineers to modify and expand an existing XProtect Corporate VMS configuration to accommodate a customer s evolving business needs, as well as demonstrate what each modification accomplishes. New requirements and requests introduce layers of complexity into surveillance installations, which increases participants skills in handling challenging scenarios. Attending this workshop helps prepare participants to take the Milestone Certified Integration Engineer (MCIE) online assessment. The workshop duration is three full working days, 9 am to 5 pm, with a total seat time of 18 hours. Coffee and other refreshments are provided during the day and lunch is provided. Workshop format This three-day training workshop consists of a series of hands-on exercises that helps participants configure advanced features of the Milestone XProtect Corporate VMS to address realistic scenarios. Step-by-step instructions guide participants as they work within a team of consultants to install, configure, and demonstrate advanced features that expand on an existing installation. Participants leave with a detailed sequential checklist and annotated notes to help transfer their knowledge to the field. Target audience Any Milestone Certified Integration Technician (MCIT) interested in learning how to install and configure advanced features in Milestone XProtect Corporate for use in high-complexity systems is welcome to sign up for this workshop. 1
