We re All Connected Residential Web Portal Quick Guide To Login to your personal web portal go to: www.knology.com/digitalphoneportal

Introduction Getting Started logging in When you go to the Knology Residential Web Portal link, the first screen that appears is your login screen. Knology will issue you a temporary password to login the first time. Once logged in, the first step is to change your Web Portal Password. For security reasons, this must be your first step during your first login. Your password must never be your last four digits of your phone number, easy to remember numbers like 12345, and should contain both letters and numbers. Changing your Web Portal password To change your Web Portal password, click on Options, then Password. At this screen you will enter your Current Password, then your New Password twice. Once complete, click Submit at the bottom of the page.

Changing your first screen at Login This can be accomplished at the same Options tab where you changed your Web Portal password, except you would click on Profile instead of password. The default 1 st page at login is Personal Directory. Once within the Profile screen, at Home Page, you have a drop down selection to choose your first page at login. Once you have selected your preferred page, click Submit at the bottom of the page. introduction

Getting started Directory Tab When you click on the Directory Tab, you will see a list of individuals that are in your personal directory. You have the ability to Add, Import, Export, and Delete contacts. Each of the Add, Import, and Export screens will have instructions appear to the left. Voicemail Tab: Inbox The first screen within the Voice Mail tab is the Inbox. The Inbox will list all voicemails in your inbox. From this location you can Move your voicemails to your Saved screen, and perform multiple tasks within the Functions options. Within the Function Options, you can listen to your voicemail, forward the voicemail via E-mail to someone else, add the caller information to your directory, or add them to your caller to your call screening list. A picture of the Functions screen is provided.

Voicemail Tab: Inbox functions screen voicemail Voicemail Tab: Notification Within the Notification screen, you can select how you want to be notified the moment you receive a voicemail. You can select the method of notification to be via Pager, Voice Call (the system will call you and give you the option to listen to your voicemails), and E-mail (Message sent stating you have a voicemail to any email address you choose).

voicemail Voicemail Tab: Options This screen will allow you to Enable Email Forwarding, which sends an email, with the new Voicemail attached as a Wav file, to the E-mail address of your choice. From the E-mail message, you can click on the voicemail attachment and listen to your voicemail. This feature is also called unified messaging. Call Management Tab: Call Logs When you select the Call Management tab, the opening screen will display your most recent call Logs. This will show all inbound and outbound call logs. xxxx xxxx xxxx

Call Management Tab: Find Me The second tab within the Call Management tab is Find Me. When clicking on the Find Me tab, it will show your different Find Me lists. To edit or view the find me list, click the Functions icon. Click Add to position another phone number in the sequence. call management Call Management Tab: Find Me functions Once you click the Functions icon, you will see the phone numbers and timing of the selected Find Me list. Click the next Functions icon on this screen and you will be taken to the next screen that will allow you to configure the settings of the phone number in the Find Me sequence.

call management: functions Call Management Tab: Find Me functions - no answer timeout Once you have clicked on the function tab, this screen will allow you to customize the timing of each number within your Find Me sequence. If there is a number in the sequence after the current number, you will have to have the No Answer Timeout selected for less seconds than the Menu Timeout. If not, this could cause the next number in the sequence not to be called. Call Management Tab: Default Forwarding activating find me To activate Find Me, the Default Forwarding Action under the Call Treatment tab, within the Call Management tab, has to be selected to Find Me. To change the Action, you have to select the Functions icon for Default Forwarding.

Default Forwarding is also the application you would access to forward all calls to another number or forward calls when you number is busy or there is no answer. Call Management Tab: Default Forwarding default forwarding default action This screen, accessed through the Function icon in the previous screen, will allow you to set your Default Forwarding. For Find-me, you would select Find-me in the drop down menu. call management: functions In this screen, you can also set your Default Forwarding for all calls to be Forward to a number like your cell phone or only Forward When Busy/No Answer Call Management Tab: Call Treatment To add additional call treatments and to do specific call screening and forwarding by number, with time of day options, you will need to click Add at the bottom of the Call Treatment tab.

call management: functions Call Management Tab: Call Treatment add Once in the Call Management tab, you can configure individual in-bound numbers to be handled in a specific manner. You can choose to manage the number differently depending on the hours of the day with Time of Day Action, or schedule a Default Action that will manage the phone number routing all the time. Within each Action, you can select the call-in number to be handled or routed in a variety of ways. The action you choose depends on how you want the call to be handled.
