1 (828) RINGFREE COMMUNICATIONS USER GUIDE User Guide This guide will help you understand and implement your personal settings and features. System wide features and settings can be adjusted by reaching out to your primary phone system contact. Ringfree s Support Process Ringfree Communications offers remote support through our main telephone number and through an ticketing system. System wide changes must be submitted through the primary contact from your organization. Support is available Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., and after hours emergency support is available for a system wide outage. Phone Support: When contacting us for support dial the main telephone number (828) and then Option 2 from our Auto Attendant Menu. Our support staff will create a ticket for you and notify you of the resolution. Support: To create a support ticket send an to support@ringfree.com Holidays: Ringfree observes Postal Holidays while being flexible on the surrounding dates. Holiday Auto Attendant messages and recordings will be applied at or after 5:30 p.m. prior to your observed holiday and removed at or before 8:30 a.m. on the next day of your regular business hours.
2 RINGFREE COMMUNICATIONS USER GUIDE Voic Setup: Dial *97 and then enter your Password. Your temporary default password is your extension number. Follow the prompts to personalize your greeting. Voic Box Access: Dial *97 and enter your voic password. Follow the prompts to manage your messages. Temporary Greetings: Dial *97 and enter your voic password. Follow the prompts to manage your greetings. Call Transfers Attended Call Transfer While in a call, press TRANSFER, enter the EXTENSION NUMBER, WAIT FOR ANSWER, ANNOUNCE CALL, and press TRANSFER Blind Transfer While in a call, press TRANSFER (hold until the Blind option appears), select BLIND, enter the EXTENSION NUMBER, and press TRANSFER Transfer Directly to Voic While in a call, press TRANSFER, BLIND,* + the EXTENSION NUMBER Transfer to An Outside Number Follow steps for Announced or Blind Transfer to desired number instead of the extension number.
3 RINGFREE COMMUNICATIONS USER GUIDE Call Recording While in a call dial *1and then manage your recordings from your Web Based User Panel Call Parking While in a call BLIND TRANSFER to EXTENSION 70, listen for PICK UP EXTENSION NUMBER (71-78), Complete the TRANSFER. Pick up the Parked Call by Dialing the previously stated EXTENSION NUMBER from desired location. Intercom Extension To Extension *80 + EXTENSION NUMBER Overhead Paging On supported phones press the Page button Conference Room Dial EXTENSION 8500 Remote Call Pick Up Dial ** + EXTENSION NUMBER
4 User Panel Your Personal Extension can be managed from your user web interface. Login: Your Personal Extension Password: Same As Voic Manage Voic and Recordings Voic s and recordings may be ed, forwarded to another extension, categorized, or deleted. Once a message or recording is deleted, it is permanently removed from the system.
5 Follow Me Choose Follow Me from the menu on the left and select Enabled Add the desired EXTENSION or PHONE NUMBER to your Follow Me List and include a number 1 and the Area Code. If using a cell number in Follow Me, be mindful of how long it takes for your cell phone s voic to pick up the call when adjusting the Ring Times. The default settings are generally appropriate.
6 Feature Codes and Phone Features While in the USER Panel, choose Feature Codes or Phone Features from the menu on the left. By dialing the codes listed you can utilize the described features for your personal extension. The majority of the features listed are directly accessible from your phone and do not require entering a feature code. However if you see a feature code and need more information about how to utilize it, reach out to your primary or secondary phone system contact. Settings While in the USER Panel, choose Settings from the menu on the left. These settings are for security and notifications. You can manage your voic passwords and notifications through this page or by contacting Ringfree Support at support@ringfree.com or (828) VFax (Fax to ) In a new fill in: To: faxnumber@ yourfax.com Subject: Your Fax Number Attach the Document and Send
