Section II Installation Procedure A. Installation Precautions. Use Seat & Floor Protectors to avoid damage to surfaces. (Fig. A) 2. Wear protective latex gloves while cleaning factory panels. A NOTE: The use of protective latex gloves during cleaning isfig. mentioned as a precaution to those installers who may be sensitive to the chemicals being used in this process. The use of protective gloves is not mandatory. 3. When cleaning with Windex. A. Always use a clean (lint free, scratch resistant) soft cloth (or wipe), and clean a small area at a time (~3 ft. x 3 ft. max.). (Fig A2) B. Fig. A2 Apply Windex to cloth or wipe. Do not spray cleaning solutions directly to any vehicle surfaces.(fig.a3) C. Clean surface thoroughly and wipe dry immediately with a new clean cloth. Do not allow Fig. A3 cleaner to air dry. B. Clean Factory Surfaces 3. Thoroughly clean (using method in Step A.3) all applicable surfaces highlighted in Fig. D. C. Install Speakers. Using speaker manufacturer supplied template, carefully cut speaker openings. 2. Install speakers as instructed by manufacturer. D. Install Radio Page 3 of 8 pages
4. Using radio manufacturer supplied template, or instructions carefully cutout radio opening above Storage compartment. 2. Install radio as instructed by manufacturer. E. Complete Wiring of Radio Console prior to Cart Installation 5. Complete all required Speaker, Antenna, and Radio wiring, as instructed by each manufacturer. 6. Locate and Cut access holes in Console top cover as needed for antenna and power wiring. 7. Route wires through holes 8. Re-install Console top cover. Page 4 of 8 pages
C. Attach Driver and Passenger Side Mounting Brackets. Install Brackets into Radio Console. 2. Using 8 included screws attach brackets to Radio Console. Use care not to overtighten. Page 5 of 8 pages
D. Prepare Cart for Radio Console Installation. Position the Radio Console between the Roof and the inside edge of the roof supports. 2. Remove front roof bolts, position over existing bolt hole locations and reinstall bolts 3. Using 2 screws per side attach side brackets to roof. 4. Align the 4 bracket holes with the four holes in the roof and roof supports. 5. Reinstall and tighten previously removed roof mount bolts. Page 6 of 8 pages
F. Complete all Wiring 6. Complete all wiring as necessary. Note: Consult cart owners manual, and manufactures instructions of proper power wiring requirements. G. Clean Up 7.
