LEARN-WISE TRAINING: LECTORA SCORM MODULE SETTINGS REQUIREMENTS In order for a training module authored in Lectora to be compatible with any LMS, you must follow the following steps. 1. Go to the Design tab and select Title Options 2. A pop-up window will appear. Select AIIC/SCORM/Tin Can for LMS/LRS. Click OK. 3. Your Pages will now be put into an Assignable Unit, most likely titled A001 Page 1
DATA REPORTING SETTINGS REQUIREMENTS After creating a test, there are several requirements necessary in order for the content to report data to Learn-Wise. 1. Your test is comprised of pages with your questions. At the end of your test, you will need to add two additional pages: a Pass page and a Fail page. To add these two pages, click on the Home tab and then click Page. 2. Click on the Test title in the Title Explorer, then click on the Behavior tab. Under Questions, check off the boxes that you would like to apply for your test. You must select the following parameters for the On Completed/Passed and On Canceled/Failed sections: 3. Next, click on the Results tab. Check the box for Grade the Test and set the desired Lowest Passing Score (the minimum score needed to pass the test). The other sections are optional based on your preference. Page 2
4. On the last page of the test, you must set the module to grade the test. Click on the Last Page of Test title from the Title Navigator. Go to the Action tab and set the following parameters: a. Add an Action: OnShowProcTestSurv (name will auto populate as you change the action) b. Trigger: Show c. Action: Process Test/Survey d. Target: Test 1 (substitute in the title of the test you want to process) e. The final Action pane should look like this: 5. Now you must configure the Pass page to report that the module has been completed. Click on the Pass page title from the Title Navigator. Go to the Action tab and set the following parameters: a. Add an Action: OnShowModVar (name will auto populate as you change the action) b. Trigger: Show c. Action: Modify Variable d. Target: AICC_Core_Lesson e. Type: Set Equal To f. Value: completed (type in exactly as written) g. The final Action pane should look like this: 6. Now you must configure the Fail page to report that the module has been completed. Click on the Fail page title from the Title Navigator. Go to the Action tab and set the following parameters: a. Add an Action: OnShowModVar (name will auto populate as you change the action) b. Trigger: Show c. Action: Modify Variable d. Target: AICC_Core_Lesson e. Type: Set Equal To f. Value: incomplete (type in exactly as written) g. The final Action pane should look like this: Page 3
7. Your Title Explorer should now have an OnShowModVar action on both Pass and Fail pages: ACTIONS 8. Finally, you must have an Exit button on both the Pass and Fail pages. Add a button and configure it with an action. a. Add an Action: OnMClikExitClose (name will auto populate as you change the action) b. Trigger: Mouse Click c. Action: Exit/Close 9. Your Title Explorer should now have an exit button with an OnMClikExitClose action on both Pass and Fail pages. PUBLISHING AS SCORM MODULE 1. Click the Home tab and then click Publish. A drop down will open. Select SCORM. Page 4
2. Under SCORM Options, set the Conformance Level to SCORM 1.2 Conformant. 3. Under HTML Options, choose the destination folder. Select Publish all pages, and check the Create a zip file box. Click OK and publish. Page 5
