Review Video and Data

How to review Video & Date Gulfcoast Software allows you to review video events (video only option) as well as video events and data together (video and data option). To review video events and data: Select the Review Events screen and make sure the Video & Data button is selected. 1. On the review events page, select the Video & Data button 2. From there, you can perform a Journal Review, a Simple Search, or an Advanced Search * Examples follow.

Journal Review 1. On the Review Events page, make sure the Video & Data button are selected 2. The daily Journal appears in the Journal view 3. Scroll to the event you want to review and click it 4. The video associated with the event appears * Example on the next page

1. On the Review Events screen, verify that the Video Data mode is selected 2. Select the date 3. The daily Journal appears in the Journal View 4. The daily Journal is scrollable so you can navigate through the days events.

Simple Search Gulfcoast Software s unique search function allows you to submit simple or complex queries. To perform a simple search: 1. Access the Review Events page 2. Select the date to search 3. Enter a keyword to search for in the Criteria box 4. Hit the Search button

Advanced Search To perform an advanced search, simply choose the search date, and select and enter the correct criteria on the Review Events page. For instance, suppose you would like to view all Marlboro cigarette sales that were less than $5 and whose dollar amounts did not end in zero. You want to include all registers in the search. You would input the following: 1. Select the date 2. Enter your company s Marlboro keyword in the criteria box 3. In the first drop down box, select Amount 4. In the second drop down box, select Any $ 5. In the third drop down box, select > 6. In the text box type 5 7. Click the Register button and Select all 8. Hit Search and your results should display * Example on next page.

Review Exception List

How to Review the Exception List The Exception List is a compilation of saved searches specified by the manager. These saved searches allow the manager to keep a watch list of items or events for daily review. If a particular item is not within the specified boundaries, a red button appears so that the manager knows to check the item immediately. For instance, you can add an item to your Exception List that specifies that if the number of No Sales within a certain time frame exceeds a certain limit, the manager should be alerted. To view the Exception List: 1. Browse to the Review Events page. 2. Click the Green X-List button to bring up the Exception List. 3. Red buttons indicated items that should be checked immediately. Green buttons indicate that the item is within the specified range. 4. Click a Red button to see the details for that item. * Example on next page

On the Review Events page, select the Video Only button 2. Select a camera whose video you would like to view 3. Select the year, month, and day you would like to view 4. Select an event to view 5. To add other cameras to the view, click the Add Camera View button and select additional cameras

Backup Video and Data

How to Perform a Backup Gulfcoast Software s backup options allows you to backup data, video, audio, and playback software, and also allow you to browse to any other resources you wish to backup. To perform a backup: 1. Click on the Backup utility button. Note that if you are going to save your backup to a CD, you will need to place a blank CD into your CD drive and click the Refresh button. 2. Select the drive letter on which you want to store the backup. 3. Select the type of data you want to backup. 4. Select the dates. 5. Begin the backup by clicking the Start Backup button. 6. Click the Done button when you are finished.

Print Reports

How to Print Reports Gulfcoast Software offers extensive reporting capabilities. For a list of reports that are available for your POS system, contact Gulfcoast at (727) 449-2296. You can preview print, email, and fax reports. To print a report: 1. Click on the Reports button on the bottom of the screen. 2. Select the date. 3. Select the report you want to print. 4. Select the print option from the Options Menu. * Example on Next page
