Cleanliness Champions Programme Version 3 Dental Registration Process learnpro NHS Introduction The Cleanliness Champions Programme is now delivered to NHS staff via an e-learning website called learnpro NHS. Before you register for the Cleanliness Champions Programme with your local Registering Officer, you must have or create a learnpro NHS account. If you already have a learnpro NHS account, you can just contact your local Registering Officer to register for the programme. If you have problems creating your account, your line manager should be able to give you advice on how to contact your local learnpro administrator. This document outlines the registration process step by step. Important: NHS staff (Hospital Dental Services and Community/Salaried Dental Services) need an account for learnpro NHS: https://nhs.learnprouk.com (You can copy and paste this links into your browser.) If you already have a learnpro account, you do not need to change it! An e-mail address is mandatory for the registration process. You should use the same e-mail address for the registration for the programme with NES and for your learnpro account. Self registration learnpro NHS The registration on learnpro NHS is quick and easy. It consists of four main steps: 1. Enter personal details 2. Select location and job role 3. Enter ID number 4. Finish! Please see the following pages for a step by step guide and detailed information.
What will you see when you go to register on the system for the first time? Go to https://nhs.learnprouk.com Under New Users section, click on the button to Register. Read through the Terms and Conditions of Use and Agree to these if you are happy to continue. A registration form will appear. 1. Enter personal details Complete all the fields: First Name Last Name Email Address (which also acts as the Username) Password (which should be confirmed) (You should use the same e-mail address for the registration for the programme with NES and for your learnpro account.) All fields are mandatory. Then click Next to move on to the next stage of registration.
2. Select location and job role Specify your location and job role: Step 1: Select your Organisation, Department and Team under the Location tab: Step 2: Select your Job Family, Sub Family and Job Title under the Job Role tab (Please ensure you have selected items from both tabs and they are highlighted grey.) Location Job Role Location: For Community/Salaried Dental Services (CSDS), please select the option below under Dental Services (for your health board):

3. Enter ID number NHS Users will next be prompted to enter their ID numbers. All Users must enter an ID Number. This number varies in different Trusts/Board. Please check with your line manager and/or your Trust/Board and check the list of ID numbers at the end of the document. Advice will be provided to users in a popup if there is a specific format this should be entered in to align with local policies. Medical staff will also be prompted to enter their GMC code (this does not apply to dental staff) If you enter your ID number correctly a green tick will be displayed. If you do not enter the correct details you will be prompted to re-enter this in a correct format. Click on Finish.
4. Finish! Registration is now complete. You can login to the system straight away using the details you have provided. Note: A confirmation email will be sent to you with your username and password. Once you have your learnpro user account and you have found a mentor, you can register for the Cleanliness Champions Programme via your local Registering Officer. Appendix A: ID numbers Board National Waiting Times Centre ID Requirement Please enter your identification number, this is your SWISS number which can be obtained by contacting your line manager. This number is L and the first 7 characters of your pay number (e.g. if your pay number is A6661010, your learnpro number would be LA666101). This is extremely important as this is what links learnpro to empower which will allow Managers to view what e learning you have completed through e manager. You can find this number yourself in your HR.net. If you have any problems please contact your manager or email dumf ubh.hrnet@nhs.net Please enter the first 20 characters of your email address. Please enter your Scottish Workforce Information Standard System (SWISS) number, or another number as advised. Please enter your National Insurance Number. To complete your registration on learnpro, you must enter your payroll number to confirm your identity. Please enter your payroll number replacing the starting X with a H so the number entered will be of the format H1234567 or H123456X. You can find this number on eexpenses or on your payslip. NHS Lanarkshire NHS Lothian NHS National Services Scotland NHS Orkney NHS Shetland NHS Tayside NHS Western Isles Scottish Ambulance Service State Hospitals Board for Scotland To proceed with account activation you will have to enter your unique identifier for NHS Lanarkshire. For organisation purposes the identifier must be the persons own personal payroll number. This will take the format of eight characters beginning with the letter L and all in upper case (capitals), where letters are included in the payroll number. The payroll number can be obtained from either your personal salary payslip or from your line manager. NHS Lothian staff Your number should start with the letters C, E, ET or ES, followed by 6, 7, or 8 numbers. If you do not know your number, please ask your line manager to get it for you from Empower. An instruction guide for managers can be found on the Intranet homepage. GPs and GP Practice staff your ID number should be the Practice Reference Number (S and 5 numbers) followed by 2 numbers which will be allocated to you by your practice manager when registering.
