Integration with Adobe Creative Cloud We know that many of our customers have previously used Adobe Illustrator CC which is why we ve integrated our state of the art Creative Cloud integration. Open a document from the Creative Cloud and send to Illustrator. Open document... Press the plus button and open the saved document from Creative Cloud. Now you re free to go into a park or work freely wherever you are. Vectornator Manual 21
Send to... Voilà! Without any hassle your document has just been opened back on your computer and is ready to be edited. Vectornator Manual 22
Pen Tool Those of you who are completely new to vector graphic design will quickly discover that the pen tool is one of the most powerful yet simplest tools available. It helps creating any 2D shape imaginable. Create a path Tap on the canvas to add a corner point. Multiple taps will create a path with multiple sharp corners. Vectornator Manual 23
Moving handles Moving handles independently is possible by dragging a handle and placing another finger on the canvas simultaneously. Vectornator Manual 24
To continue editing an unclosed path, just select the path with the selection tool. Choose the pen tool afterwards and tap on one of the end nodes of the path. The path will be extended from this node. Closing paths To close a path, tap the first node of the path. Tapping the pen tool in the toolbar or double tapping the last node will finish the path without closing it. Vectornator Manual 25
Alt Switch On a computer, you can easily drag duplicate paths by pressing the alt key on the keyboard. On a touchscreen device this can be rather annoying. Having to constantly copy and paste paths slows down workflows. Activating To tackle this problem we came up with a brilliant solution we call the Alt Switch. By activating the Alt Switch which you can see in the top left corner the duplicate mode is activated. Of course you can also trigger this mode by using an external hardware keyboard. Vectornator Manual 26
Create a copy Whenever the duplicate mode is activated every path you drag or rotate will create a copy with the transform applied. The original path will be left untouched. Depending on what you re working on this can be a huge timesaver. Vectornator Manual 27
