Characteristics and usage f battery Charge battery with charger that cmes with the package befre use. One full charge takes apprximately 3,5 hurs, prviding up t 400 flashes at maximum utput. Battery life depends n usage frequency. In the beginning, the capacity f the battery can be increased, then gradually reduced. A fully charged battery may nt be used fr up t 6 mnths. Keeping the battery dwn fr a lng time may affect its perfrmance. T maintain ptimal battery perfrmance, charge the battery within 3 mnths after use. The battery life cycle is apprximately 300 cycles. A drastic drp in flash brightness suggests a change f battery is needed. The ambient temperature als affects the battery. Pay clse attentin t the high temperature differences that may have a negative effect n the battery. A large drp in battery capacity may ccur when the temperature drps belw 10 C when the battery can drain quickly. Avid using the battery at 0 C. The battery shuld nt be used even at temperatures abve 45 C. If the battery is verheated it may reduce its service life and its built-in prtectin system may limit its use. If the verheating indicatr beeps, cl the battery. Althugh the battery is discharged by use and can n lnger be used, the battery retains sme capacity t prtect its system. This small amunt f capacity is maintained fr 3-6 mnths. Over time it is depleted, which leads t degradatin f the battery. T avid this, charge the battery as sn as the battery is discharged. Charger and battery shelf life Befre charging the battery, turn ff the flash first. If yu leave the flash turned n while the battery is charging, the charging time is prlnged and energy is cnsumed. Battery charging time is apprximately 3,5 hurs. Battery life increases with frequent charging, even if the battery is nt cmpletely discharged. The battery shuld be charged at a temperature f 10 C t 40 C. Charging the battery utside this range may cause the prtectin system t blck charging r t display the battery as fully charged. If pssible, charge the battery at rm temperature. Fr quick charging, turn ff the flash r remve the battery and charge it directly. Battery charging time depends n battery temperature, adapter pwer (AC 220V), and battery age. If the red dide des nt appear during charging, make sure the charger is cnnected t an electrical utlet and there is a pwer supply. If the charger malfunctins, cntact a service. Packaging cmpnents Flash with battery, strap and charger.
