TRAINING Manual Control your health

What does it do It is Health Monitoring Device that is used to Measure Patient s Health Parameters Using CSC- Mede-Integra, Health Parameter are measured and updated in Patient s case sheet automatically. It Connects via Bluetooth to a Computer.

What Health Parameters can it Measure 1. Temperature 4. Haemoglobin 2. Blood Pressure 5. Blood Sugar 3. Blood Oxygen 6. Total Cholesterol

Work Flow The workflow is same as earlier for entering to Mede-Integra. After landing on Mede-Integra Patient Information page, the workflow varies for those VLE s who have procured the Control-H device. This training will focus on Hands-on for using the Mede-Integra with Control-H. Handling the Control-H device Measuring the Health parameters Uploading the case sheet Printing the Receipt & Test Report.

Work Flow VLE views Patient s case sheet to Perform Health parameter tests using Health parameters are measured gets updated in the patient s case sheet in Mede-Integra. If Tele-Consult option is selected the Case sheet can also be sent to Apollo Doctor at MRC for consultation VLE prints Test Report, Prescription (based on selection)and hands it over to the patient Doctor at MRC reviews this and gives a prescription after Teleconsultation which gets updated in the case sheet Note: The workflow starts after landing on Mede-Integra Patient Information page

Hardware & Software Requirements Hardware Control-H Kit Bluetooth Dongle Printer Network Connectivity Software Mede-Integra Login Drivers (Bluetooth Dongle driver & Printer) Control-H Setup file

Pre-Requisites for CSC-Mede-Integra-( Control-H) 1. Connect and install the Bluetooth dongle to the computer. 2. Pair the Bluetooth to the Control-H device. 3. Install the Control-H setup file. 4. Configure settings in Internet explorer. 5. Open the apna-csc and follow the Regular Tele- Consultation process till selecting the Patient Record

Steps for Installing & Pairing USB Bluetooth Dongle Control-H to connect with computer via Bluetooth only. There two parts for interfacing Control-H with Computer Part I : Installing Bluetooth Dongle Part II : Pairing Bluetooth Dongle with Control-H Note: For those Laptops with built-in Bluetooth enabled and working, USB Bluetooth Dongle is not required

Part I : Installing USB Bluetooth Dongle Step 01: Insert USB Bluetooth dongle to one of the USB port, preferably USB 2.0 port. Step 02: The Device gets detected automatically and starts installing the driver. If the device is not detected by the OS automatically, please check that, if any firewall or antivirus blocking it, try disabling this option and enable it after installation, (or) try login as Administrator to install the driver. After successful installation the Bluetooth device is ready for use. Step 03: In windows task bar from icon list, select the Bluetooth icon select the Open Settings Step 04: Enable the Allow Bluetooth devices to find this PC and click Apply and OK Right click and This completes the installation of the USB Bluetooth Device to the PC.

Part II : Pairing Control-H Step 01: Switch ON the Control-H device and wait for the Green LED to glow followed by the Blue LED to blink. Step 02: In windows task bar from icon list, select the Bluetooth icon select the select Add a Bluetooth Device. Right click and Step 03: The system will search the Control-H device in Manage Bluetooth device window. Step 04: Initially the system will display it as Healthcare device ready to pair, later it will be displayed as Control-H. Step 05: Select on Control-H and click and enter the pass code as 1234. Step 06: Click NEXT to complete the pairing. Step 07: After pairing, in the Manage Bluetooth device list the Control-H is shown as Paired

Installing Control-H setup file Right click on the file & select Run as Administrator. Select location where file is to be installed. In the next step, select Everyone. Once setup file is installed, click close to exit.

Configuring security settings in Internet explorer 1. Open IE 2. Go to settings and select Internet Options 3. Select Security tab 4. Keep the security level as Low 5. Select "Trusted sites" option and click "sites" to add CSC.medeintegra site 6. Type http://csc.medeintegra.com and click "Add" and click close 7. Click "OK" and exit

Open Internet Explorer (IE) and type http://ap na.csc.go v.in

Enter the CSC ID, Password and number shown below and then click Authenticate 12

Next click on Apollo Telemedicine link. After successf ully login, click on VLE Services. 12

In case of a new patient, click on Patient Registration and enter details. 12

Blood Glucose In case of a new patient, click on Patient Registration and enter details. 12

Select the UHID of the respective patient In the case where a patient has already been registered, look up the relevant name. Associated UHIDs will be displayed on the screen. 12

Select the Health Parameters Total Amount to be Paid by patient appears Collect the cash from patient and Click Pay

The Payment gateway link will be displayed Enter the PG credentials, and select I have read & accepted terms of use And Click Pay Now

If the credentials are correct and enough balance is available, then payment is made and Payment Successfully Completed message appears Click OK to continue

Click Get Health Parameters

A pop up opens. Select Yes to allow interaction. 12

Click on Scan for Control-H devices 12

Measuring Blood Pressure

1. Insert the BP connector plug into the BP socket firmly as shown. 2. Wrap the cuff on the upper part of the right arm above the elbow. Note: Relax yourself in a comfortable position. Remain stable during the measurement. Avoid exercising and smoking for 30 minutes before taking a measurement. Avoid taking measurements during stressful times. Remove tight-fitting clothing from the right upper arm. Sit in a chair with your feet flat on the floor and place the right arm on a table/flat surface. Note: Apply the cuff to the right upper arm so that the cuff is wrapped at the same level of your heart. Ensure that the arrow present in the BP cuff points towards the artery along the middle finger of the right hand as shown below.

Click on Measure Blood Pressure. Note: Ensure that the person remains stable until the application displays the results

On successful measurement, the Blood Pressure and Pulse rate are displayed.

Measuring Blood Oxygen (SpO2)

1. Insert the SpO2 connector into the socket firmly as shown below. 2 Clip the SpO2 probe in the index finger of the person to be measured in right/left hand as shown above.. Note: Relax yourself in a comfortable position. Remain stable during the measurement. Place the finger properly inside the SpO2 probe. Clean the surface of the fingertip before the measurement.

Click on Measure Blood Oxygen.

On successful measurement, the SpO2 value and Pulse rate are displayed

Measuring Temperature

Measuring temperature 1. Insert the Ear Thermometer connecter into the socket firmly as shown below. 2. Use new dust cover over the tip of the Ear Thermometer for each measurement. Place the Ear Thermometer inside the ear as displayed above. Note: Relax yourself in a comfortable position. Place the Ear Thermometer properly into the ear canal for accurate measurement. Remain stable during the measurement. Wait until the application displays the measured temperature.

Click on Measure Temperature.

. On successful measurement, the temperature value is displayed.

Measuring Blood Glucose, Total Cholesterol, Hemoglobin

Measuring Glucose, Cholesterol & Haemoglobin using GLUCOBIN Using Lancet pen and collecting blood 1. Unscrew and remove the lancet pen `s adjustable tip as shown below. Note: Relax yourself in a comfortable position. Make sure you use correct corresponding strips while recording for Glucose, Cholesterol and Haemoglobin. Steps to use lancet pen and collect blood are the same for all 3 vitals.

2. Insert a lancet into the carrier as shown below. 3. Twist off the protective cover.

4. Replace the adjustable tip tightly. Choose a desired skin penetration depth by rotating the top portion of the adjustable tip until the setting number lines up to the arrow. 5. Settings are based on skin type: Depth 1-2 for soft or thin skin Depth 3 for average skin Depth 4-5 for thick or calloused skin

6. Hold the tip of the lancet pen with one hand and pull the sliding barrel with the other hand. When a click is felt, the trigger rises up. Release the sliding barrel, it will move back to its original position. 7. Insert the Glucobin connecter into the socket firmly. Then insert the test strip into the test strip slot of the Glucobin as shown below.

8. Choose the corresponding vital to be recorded on the application screen. 9. Clean your finger with alcohol swab and let it dry completely. 10. Place the lancet pen on side of your fingertip. 11. Press the trigger on the lancet pen as shown above. 12. Get a drop of blood and place the blood drop on the test strip target area. Note: The blood should make contact on the strip.

13. On successful test completion, the test result will be displayed in 6 or 7 second on the application screen. 14. Wipe any excess blood on the finger with the cotton and dispose it properly. 15. Pull the test strip out of the Glucometer. 16. Unscrew the adjustable tip of the lancet pen. 17. Place the protective cover of the lancet back on the lancet as shown below. 18. Discard the used lancet in an appropriate container. 19. Screw the adjustable tip back on the lancet pen. When you insert the corresponding strip and put blood on it by the method explained above, First on the application screen blood is detected or Reading in... message is displayed. Next the reading process begins and measured value is displayed. Note: Ensure that the test strip gets enough blood. Else try to use a new test strip to do the test again. To avoid accidental injury, always remove the used lancet immediately after each test.

After measuring all the selected Health parameters, IT IS VERY IMPORTANT TO CLICK Submit Health Parameters button, to update the case sheet and Test Report

Click on Print for printing the Test Report.

Click on Go To Case Sheet for Fixing appointment

Fill the required details and proceed for fixing appointment. Follow the regular process of Tele- Consultation
