Business Network Solutions Secure and flexible networking for your SME. Reliable and secure internal exchange of business data is becoming increasingly important for efficient collaboration. More and more business-critical applications as well as telephony are based on All-IP solutions, while sensitive company data is stored on central servers. Employees access it from various company locations, as well as home offices or on the move. Keeping your business network secure and available is therefore more important than ever. At the same time, companies requirements are changing more quickly and their networks need to be adaptable at short notice. The solution at a glance: > > Fully managed company network: all software and hardware components are operated and maintained by Swisscom. > > Network services can be flexibly combined and adapted in real time (e. g. add new locations, switch on guest WiFi, adjust firewall settings). > > Fast Internet connection with fail-safe guarantee. > > Installation, maintenance and support all from the same Swisscom-certified IT partner. Business Network Solutions is a secure, modern and flexible network solution that you can adapt to your SME s specific requirements at any time. Functions and possibilities Access data from anywhere Multiple company sites are linked together securely via a VPN and central mail servers, databases and network printers can be shared. Work on the move or at home You can securely access the company network away from the office via an encrypted connection (Remote Access Service). Access is protected through a combination of SMS/mobile ID and password. Protect company data Data traffic within the company is protected by a secure network that is separate from the Internet (the data never leaves the company network). Your company network can also be protected by a port-based firewall. High-performance hardware, always up to date Ensures stable network coverage throughout the building. Switches, WLAN access points and routers are equipped with the latest technology. Firmware is always up to date. User groups Allocate individual network authorisations to certain groups (e.g. for individual departments). WiFi networks at the touch of a button WiFi networks for guests or employees can be switched on and configured centrally. Data access can be individually defined for each network. How you benefit at a glance: > > Predictable costs Licences, firmware updates and hardware exchange are included in the monthly subscription fee. > > No investment costs and greater flexibility You rent the network services and hardware that you need and only pay for what you actually use (no minimum contract term). > > Prioritise business-critical applications Applications (e. g. cloud services, IP telephony) can be prioritised in the network. With Internet Backup, your Internet connection is always available even when the network goes down. > > Flexibly expandable and combinable The solution can be seamlessly combined with Swisscom s IP-based communication solution for telephony and other Swisscom services and cloud services. > > Expert support from a single provider Support and installation are provided by Swisscomcertified IT partners. Depending on your choice of service level, you will benefit from quick repair times if services are interrupted (SLA).

Solution at a glance 03-18 The information in this document does not constitute a binding offer. It is subject to revision at any time. Facts Remote Access Service Network settings Managed Firewall Site networking (VPN) Internet fail-safe guarantee Dashboard All network settings and hardware can be managed via a central dashboard rather than on site. The status of services and hardware can be viewed in real time. Additional options can be activated at the touch of a button, which means that remote maintenance is more effective. Expandable with telephony Can be easily combined with Swisscom s IP-based Smart Business Connect communication solution for telephony. Fixe IP-Adressen Can be easily combined with Swisscom s IP-based Smart Business Connect communication solution for telephony. Internet applications > > Fast, adaptable Internet subscription for SMEs. > > Maximum down- and upload speeds: symmetrical bandwidths available with fibre optics. > > Secure data transfer for point-of-sale terminals or alarm systems (see also separate M2M Wireline factsheet). Network infrastructure WLAN access points Switches Fixed IP addresses Applications in the company network > State-of-the-art IP telephony from Swisscom > Operation of web or mail servers > Network services (e. g. printer) > POS terminals/ card-readers > Alarm systems Managed firewall BNS provides a port-based stateful firewall. Outgoing traffic from the company network can be controlled (protocols/port closure). There are three possible security levels and user-defined settings. Network hardware in the service model You rent all network hardware (high-performance Aruba WLAN access points and switches), including an exchange service. Swisscom can therefore guarantee the quality of your service not just to the router, but to the end device. All hardware is also automatically updated (software updates, security patches, etc.) and you always have the latest technology (the WiFi technology standard changes approximately every three years). Networks for user groups Separate, multi-location networks can be created for different user groups (e.g. sales, controlling or guests) and for Internet and IP telephony. User authentication Users can authenticate themselves individually by connecting to a central user directory. Internet fail-safe guarantee With Internet Backup, your Internet connection remains available even when the network goes down.

Facts 03-18 The information in this document does not constitute a binding offer. It is subject to revision at any time. Network settings and functions > > Various possible LAN settings (DHCP options, LAN routing and DNS server settings). > > Ensure network security with NAT and PAT rules (control IP traffic with port forwarding). > > DMZ service: connect mail or web servers with additional fixed IP addresses. > > IP service prioritisation. Thanks to Quality of Service (QoS), business-critical applications always get the necessary bandwidth. > > Fast network adaptation and overview of current network status in a user-friendly administrator interface available online. Remote Access Service Encrypted remote access to the company network on the move via Remote Access Service (RAS). Access is securely protected through a combination of SMS, mobile ID and password. The Centro Business 2.0 router is part of a tried and tested range, equipped with the latest technology and certified by Swisscom. It offers ultrafast WLAN and Internet connections. Site networking Site networking (VPN) is used to ensure secure data exchange (via an encrypted connection) within a company network between different locations. Data transferred within the VPN or between company sites and Swisscom Cloud Services is never carried on the Internet and does not leave the secure company network. Support > > Professional support from Swisscom or your certified IT partner. > > Support and fault repair times depend on defined service model. > > With Business Internet Services L, if the fault repair time is not adhered to, all monthly charges for Business Internet Services including options will be reimbursed. > > from a tried and tested range, can be installed and configured by Swisscom or certified IT partner. WiFi networks WiFi calling is possible thanks to stable WiFi network coverage throughout the company building. Even if mobile coverage is poor, mobile phones can therefore still be used throughout the building. Thanks to the centralised management of all network services, Business Network Solutions can be remotely maintained, thereby reducing service journeys: and that means you reduce your CO 2 emissions.
