Logging in to SDMS Portal (Partner Login) 1) Browse the URL mentioned below to open the login page on SDMS Partner portal. http://c20.cp5.saas.talismaonline.com The login page looks like- Screen Shot: SDMS Login Page 2) Enter your Username and Password provided to you by NSDC and click Login button.
Screen Shot: Profile Page of Training Partner Portal NSDC Registration Number is read-only which will be generated by SDMS and cannot be modified. This number will be used in uploading candidate information. Screen Shot: Training Centre To create/ modify centres, click on Training Centre tab.
On bottom right of the page, there is a button to create a new centre. Centre information like name, address etc. will be entered by the partner. Fields marked with * are mandatory fields. Click on this page to enter centre s point of contact details All centres can be viewed in the form of list under Training Centres tab. To modify details like centre address, status, contact information-click on centre id.
Creating Trainers As a part of NSDC s mandate, all training providers are expected to create a master list of all their Trainers, similar to the process of creating master list of Training Centres. When a new Trainer is created on SDMS, a new Trainer Id shall be generated, which needs to be used at the time of uploading candidates. This section provides a detailed description of the process for creating new Trainers on SDMS and the corresponding changes in the upload excel template. Creating Trainers on SDMS 1) Login to SDMS with your credentials 2) Go to tab Trainers 3) Click on the button Create New Trainer from bottom right of the page 4) Fill all the details of the particular trainer and Submit
Viewing all Trainers Created Go to Trainers tab List of all Trainers belonging to the selected Centre are listed Course Creation Click on Course Master ID to modify details All existing course will be listed in this page Click on Add to create new course Course creation will initiate course approval process by SSC. All courses created will be forwarded to the respective SSC s for curriculum alignment process.
Partners can see the real-time status of the courses under the header QP-NOS Aligned Course. How to add a course? Course will be created for a sector All fields marked as * are mandatory in this page. Attachment of syllabus and course curriculum is required for approval by SSC.
Non-STAR Candidate Upload Process Training Partners can upload the details of the candidates enrolled under Non-STAR on SDMS, which shall be routed to the respective Sector Skill Councils for initiating the assessment and certification process. Two different options are provided- 1) One for uploading new candidates (Insert Option) 2) One for updating already uploaded candidates (Update Option) Partner can choose the type of template by selecting the provided button Partners are required to follow the below mentioned steps for uploading Non-STAR data- 1) Login to SDMS 2) Create Trainers 3) Create Training Centres 4) Create Courses 5) Go to tab- Non-STAR Upload 6) Download the latest template provided 7) Fill the excel template with the requisite candidate information 8) Upload on SDMS.
STAR Candidate Upload Process Partners are required to follow the below mentioned steps for uploading STAR data- 1) Login to SDMS 2) Create Trainers 3) Create Training Centres 4) Go to tab- STAR Upload 5) Download the latest template provided 6) Fill the excel template with the requisite candidate information 7) Upload on SDMS.
Uploading New Candidates (Insert Option) 1) Partner will select an option for Insert from portal. 2) Instead of the field for Partner Name, a new field NSDC Registration Number has been provided in the excel template. 3) Partner needs to provide this NSDC Registration Number for each candidate he is uploading. 4) This number can be obtained from the Profile Details tab.
5) Partner needs to browse the duly filled candidate upload excel sheet and upload it. 6) System will show a Pass/Fail status of excel upload. In case of fail, an error log will be generated. 7) Error log will give details of the errors in the excel sheet. 8) The sheet needs to be re-uploaded after correcting the errors.
Getting SDMS Enrolment Number for Uploaded Candidates 1) Once the candidates are successfully uploaded on SDMS, the system will generate a unique SDMS Enrolment Number for each candidate. 2) This number can be obtained either from View Candidate Details tab or from Batches tab. Updating Existing Candidates (Update Option) 1) In case where training partner needs to update some fields of candidate information, they can do so by using bulk update feature. 2) Partner can select Update option. 3) Partner needs to follow the given steps to update the candidate informationa) Use the same excel template which was used for uploading the candidates. b) Keep de-dupe fields exactly the same as in the sheet used for uploading candidate information. c) The de-dupe fields used are- 1) NSDC Registration Number 2) Candidate Name 3) Name of Father/HusbandOrCareTaker 4) Job Role 5) Enrolment Number 6) Training Centre ID
7) Enrolling for STAR Scheme? d) Fill in the other columns which need to be updated. e) Upload the sheet on portal. Please note that, SDMS identifies a unique candidate enrolment based on the de-dupe fields mentioned above. Partner needs to make sure that, while updating fields in bulk, these 7 fields must be kept exactly the same for the candidate for which details need to be updated. If any of these is modified, SDMS shall create a new candidate enrolment. Dividing Candidates into Multiple Batches (SDMS Batch Creation Logic) In this enhancement, SDMS introduces a new field called BatchGroupNumber. This is a drop-down field which will take restricted integer values (1,2,3..). SDMS would group the candidates into batches as per the BatchGroupNumber along with other existing criteria of Assessment Date, Training Centre ID and Job Role Working Scenario- 1) Partner is uploading 100 candidates in a single sheet. 2) All candidates have the same Job Role, assessment date and all candidates belong to the same training centre(thus having the same Centre ID) 3) Partner wants these candidates to be grouped into 4 different batches. 4) Partner needs to give different BatchGroupNumber to different set of candidates. 5) If partner wants to create 4 batches of 25 candidates each, he can put BatchGroupNumber as 1 for first 25 candidates in excel sheet, BatchGroupNumber as 2 for next 25 candidatesas so on. 6) SDMS will automatically create different batches based on the BatchGroupNumber. Please note that, the final batch creation logic which will be followed on SDMS is- a) Training Partner b) Training Centre ID c) Job Role d) Assessment Date e) Batch Start Date f) Batch End Date
g) Batch Group Number This means that, if n number of candidates have the same fields mentioned above, they shall be grouped into one batch in SDMS. If any one of these fields differs, a new batch shall be created.
