TCC Landing Page ACCESS Travel Consultant Connection (TCC) is accessible to Corporate and Hotel users from Merlin Applications. External travel agents will access the site via direct link (www.ihgagent.com). 1. Travel agents will continue using a profile management system to view specific content. 1.1. User should have access to all public pages within ihgagent.com without having to log in with these exceptions: access to IHG Agent University link to courses (landing page is not restricted) visibility to the Luxury tab either Signature or Virtuoso (this is based on profile attributes) booking Agent travel (landing page is not restricted) booking Client travel (landing page is not restricted) HOME PAGE LOGGED OUT STATE 2. The external travel consultants accessing TCC via direct link will view the majority of content without having to log into the site. Menu [A] 2.1. Selecting a menu option enables navigation. Dynamic language translation is available in the menu. The user can select a language from the drop down list in the menu. Add google translate. See the Search section in this document for detail on search functionality. Note Luxury Travel will not appear in the menu in the logged out state. See Section 3 for detail. Header [B] 2.2. The header (logged out state) includes: Both the IHG and TCC logos link to the TCC home page Find a Property button links to www.ihg.com Travel Consultant: Register Now opens the Registration screen in a light box. Marquee [D] 2.4 A marquee area for announcements and messages displays on the home page by default. User has the ability to close the marquis by clicking the X. Promos [E] 2.5 Four (4) Promo portlets are visible on the home page. Book Agent Travel: On click, the portlet image expands to display additional rich text including an image. The button redirects the user to the full page; e.g. TCC > Travel Agent Resources > Book Agent Travel. The promo title is highlighted in purple. Book Client Travel: Duplicate the same functionality described for the Book Agent Travel promo here. All rich text, images and button text can be modified by the publisher. Agent Promotions: On click, the portlet expands to display additional rich text including an image. Up to seven (7) promotions are visible. The individual promo includes a thumbnail and caption. The caption can be a link to document or URL. The button redirects the user to the full page; e.g. TCC > Travel Agent Resources > Agent Promotions. The promo title is highlighted in purple. All rich text, images and button text can be modified by the publisher. Client Promotions: Duplicate the same functionality described for the Agent Promotions promo box here. IHG Agent University Get Started [F] 2.6 Information about IHG Agent University is highlighted. The rich text and button label are both editable by the publisher. New Hotels [G] The Get Started button transitions users to the full IHG Agent University page (same page that is accessible from the main menu). 2.7 The New Hotels carousel allows users to click the arrows to move through the most recent listings. Five (5) are displayed in the carousel. The title of the portlet is labeled NEW HOTELS and is not editable by the publisher. Each listing includes an image, hotel name, and opened date. Clicking the graphic or hotel name for each entry transitions the user to the external brand page in a new window. Integrate HCM into new hotels carousel. Feed from HCM to include: Status 07 hotels Opened in last 60 days. Display hotels if the open date is 60 days or less from the current date. Do not display hotels if the open date is greater than 60 day from the current date. Add the ability to change the number of days from 60 (default) to 180. Brand Name of property o * Name of property will link to the consumer facing reservations page. Primary photo image Opened date The View All New Hotels link transitions users to a new screen with a full listing of all properties. The page includes a lead in section that allows for an image, title, rich text with links to documents or URLs. The publisher can modify this content on the screen. o Display hotels if the open date is 60 days or less from the current date. Do not display hotels if the open date is greater than 60 day from the current date. Add the ability to change the number of days from 60 (default) to 180. Each entry includes the same detail found on the carousel image, hotel name, opened date. Resources [H] 2.8 The portlet is titled RESOURCES and is editable by the publisher. News [ I ] The carousel allows users to click the arrows to move through the articles (if more than three (3) are available. Include option for publisher to order each web content item with priority 1, 2, 3 from left to right. (Override any default display rule of most recently published.) Item 4, 5, etc. would then display after clicking right arrow. Section is configurable and each web content item includes: o Title o Image o Rich text, links to URLs or documents 2.9 The portlet title is KEEPING YOU INFORMED IS IMPORTANT TO US. and is editable by the publisher. Footer [J] Includes the four (4) most recent news articles available from the IHG news feed. The Click here to browse link transitions users to www.ihgplc.com News section in a new window: http://www.ihgplc.com/index.asp?pageid=57 The news articles are populated through the news feed from the IHGPLC.com site. Each article is displayed with the following: o Image o Title o First 100 characters of the article o On click of Find out more, a new window opens to the full article. 2.10 The copyright statement is displayed. HOME PAGE LOGGED IN STATE 3. The header on the home page differs when user is logged into the site. (The menu and landing page content is the same as described in the Home Page Logged Out View). REGISTRATION AND PROFILE MANAGEMENT 4. Profile management features will be accessible from home page. Registration - Logged Out State Welcome / Registration 4.1. The registration process for the TCC portal takes 30 45 seconds; the user receives an email confirmation. Access is unavailable until email is received. Clicking the Registration link takes the user to the registration screen within the site. The publisher can modify content on these screens through edit icons or EZ publisher. This light box is editable by the publisher. A title and introductory statement appears at the top followed by these fields: First Name (user can enter the first name) Last Name (user can enter the last name) Email Address (user enters the email address; prevent use of duplicate e-mail addresses - each user account must have unique e-mail address) Confirm Email (user must re-enter the email address in order to save changes) Email addresses must match and system checks its valid (*@*.com) Password (users enter a password) Password Rules are available in the portlet on the right column. Confirm Password (user must re-enter the password to confirm) Country (drop down list of countries is displayed) Travel Industry Number (user can enter this code; confirm validation). A note appears below the Travel Industry Number field: IATA, CLIA, TIDS, TRUE, OSSN, or similar number IHG Rewards Club: Are you an IHG Rewards Club member? You must be a member to receive graduation rewards from IHG Agent University Yes (default radio button is marked) the number) IHG Rewards Club Number field (user can enter No (radio button) User can also register for the IHG Rewards Club Number during account creation. User is directed to the IHG Rewards Club registration screen. This window opens in a new tab. Link recognizes profile attributes and displays page in proper language and locale. https://www.ihg.com/rewardsclub/rewards/us/en/join/register IHG Rewards Club (field allows agent to enter number) Add validation to the IHG Rewards Club number. When the Yes button is selected and the number is entered, validate the following against the IHG Rewards Club loyalty system First name Last name IHG Rewards Club number Terms and Conditions: Please read the following Terms and Conditions (links to PDF) and check the box below to proceed. (check box) I would like to receive email communications from IHG s Travel Consultant Connection (optional) If you opt out, you will not receive promotional and marketing emails from the TCC site. You will continue to receive transactional emails (such as password reminders and registration confirmations) from this site, and emails for other IHG web sites where you have opted-in. Cancel button returns user to TCC landing page in logged out state. Continue button: Validates the IHG Rewards Club number Creates user profile (or does it generate a support ticket to have profile manually created?) New profile registration data is captured and included on TCC Export Report Generates email confirmation Validation lightbox appears, clicking Yes returns user to same screen. Clicking No on the Validation screen returns user to screen to re-enter information. If a required field is left blank and user attempts to submit, the field(s) will be outlined in red. Forgot Password or User ID 4.2 On click of Forgot Password, a light box is displayed with the following: The title of the screen Forgot Password appears at the top of the screen. A message is displayed in the body: Please enter the email address you registered with and your password will be emailed to you. Email: field If you have forgotten the email address you used to register for Travel Consultant Connection, please enter the information below. First Name: field Last Name: field Travel Industry Number: field [CONFIRM IF THIS IS ENOUGH VALIDATION] Cancel button returns user to the TCC landing page in the logged out state. Submit button (on click, the system generates an email to the user with the password if the email address field contains a value. The email is from MerlinSupport@ihg.com note this email alias will need to change to Do Not Reply). A message is displayed confirming the password has been sent to the email address on file. If the email field is empty and the user has completed the other three fields, clicking the Submit button displays a confirmation message. Login 4.3 On click of this link, a light box is displayed with the following: The message Please enter your credentials to continue. appears as the title of the screen. Email address: field Password: field Remember Email checkbox Log In button Forgot Password Below the log in section, a second feature is visible. The title of this section is New to Travel Consultant Connection? The Register Now button is accessible below that. On click, the registration light box appears. Registration Logged In State Welcome, User Name 4.4 Welcome and the user s first name are pre-populated (on the home page header) when logged in. The user s name is pulled from profile attributes. The user has the ability to update their profile by clicking the Update Profile link in the header. A lightbox is displayed. Update Profile lightbox: 4.5 The profile screen opens as a light box and user is able to modify the highlighted fields. The same validation is applied here that is used for the Registration process. The publisher can edit the content on these screens through edit icon or EZ publisher: Use this screen to update your profile information, or reset and change your password. You can also enter your IHG Rewards Club number here to associate it with your account (if you haven t already done so). Click the Save button to save your changes. The name appears as Agency for Corporate Users. Travel Industry Number: field (user can enter this code; confirm validation). A note appears below the Travel Industry Number field: IATA, CLIA, TIDS, TRUE, OSSN, or similar number IHG Rewards Club Number: field (pre-populated from profile attribute) A note appears below the IHG Rewards Club Number field: Not a member? Sign up now (links to www.ihgrewardsclub.com) You must be a member to receive graduation rewards from IHG Agent University. Need help with your number? Contact IHG Rewards Club (links to askihgrewardsclub@ihg.com) The Change Password feature is available below the profile section. Include the title of Password. Need to change your password? Change Password Now (opens the Change Password light box). Cancel button appears at bottom of screen Save button (saves the profile changes) also appears at bottom of screen. Change Password lightbox: 4.6 The Change Password feature is available in the home page header. A lightbox is displayed when accessing this link. On click a light box opens allowing the user to complete the form fields This message appears at the top of the screen: To change your password, please enter the proposed password, re-enter it in the confirm field, and click submit. User Name: field (user should be able to request a user name if forgotten). Current Password: field (required to request the UserName). New Password: field (user should be able to request a new password or update an existing password). Confirm Password: field (requires user to re-enter the new password). Password rules are visible. Cancel button returns user to the TCC home page in logged in state. Submit button (this generates an email with requested information). Note: Password reset should be forced after 90 day period OR remove completely if allowed by AD team. If password reset is required, a reminder and/or alert should be sent to user prior to password expiration. Logout 4.7 The Logout link is available in the home page header. On click, the user is transitioned to the TCC home page in the logged out state. 4.7.1 Secured content is no longer visible such as Luxury Virtuoso or Signature tabs. 4.7.2 User is automatically logged out of IHG Agent University and any open Saba session if applicable. 4.7.3 User is automatically logged out of Booking Agent Travel site. 4.7.4 User is automatically logged out of Booking Client Travel site. 4.7.5 User is automatically logged out of IHG Commission Services site. Registration and Profile E-mail Confirmations 4.8. Recreate existing functionality for email confirmation and include the following An email should be sent for account creation, account user name or password reset. Help A B C D HELP TOPICS 5. The Help page includes three key sections represented by tabs: Help, Glossary, and Contact Us. [A] 5.1. Help Topics 5.1.1. The Help section includes three (3) tabs. Help is the default tab and the tab label appears in purple to show it is the active tab. The inactive tabs display with font in black. 5.1.2. The Help Topics page includes a lead in section that allows for images, links to documents or URLs, and text that can be formatted. [B] 5.1.3. Help Topics are displayed in two columns. 5.1.4. Each Help Topic includes a Title, Description, link to URL, document, or new rich text screen with answer. [C] Upon clicking the Help Topic Title, the user is taken to the URL, document, or new rich text screen in a new window. 5.1.5. User must select their country code from the drop down list. Subject Comments field (1,000) character limit. The character limit acts as a countdown feature providing user with remaining characters as comments are entered. [C] Cancel button refreshes the Contact Us screen and does not save changes. Save button saves the data and generates a support form to Service Now.
