Current Situation and Motivation for the PoC Panalpina has a solid, performant and highly developed BW environment in the area of internal finance, statistics and operational reporting in place. Panalpina has a lot of workarounds in place to deliver information to the customer according their demands. (combination from different sources and merging of financial, operation and customer data) This so called external customer reporting has been taken into account for the PoC. PoC SAP HANA - Conclusions SAP HANA will fit as accelerator for our customer reporting environment and can be good integrated in our existing SAP landscape. On the long run it can replace our existing SAP NetWeaver BWA and the current database DB2 for SAP BW. (SAP strategy) We could close the PoC with positive results.
