PEGASUS LASERSYSTEME About us Since it s start in 1993 PEGASUS OPTIK GMBH has steadily expanded his sphere of activity. While in the beginning the main emphasis was put on the sales of acousto-optic components another branch of the business had been built up in the course of increasing expansion. This business sphere - lasers and laser optics - is handled by PEGASUS LASERSYSTEME GMBH. Located nearby the town of Osnabrück, ensures the label Made in Germany for all laser products. Today, with more than 15 years of experience in development and manufacturing of laser systems for industry, research and development PEGASUS LASERSYSTEME GMBH becomes a partner for all OEM- and university customer requirements. The laser product line covers diode and solid state lasers from the VIS to the near IR wavelength range. Meanwhile PEGASUS is specialist in high power line laser as solution for high speed triangulation systems. PEGASUS laser systems Typical applications High speed machine vision Triangulation systems are the basis of industrial machine vision for 2D- and 3D scanning. High power linelaser from PEGASUS with output powers in the W range at different VIS and IR wavelengths show excellent results in 3D scanning of large volumes, for example truck loads. Spectroscopy Many biophotonic fluorescence dyes have an absorption band in the VIS or NIR spectral range. Due to its different available wavelengths in same mechanical housing, the PEGASUS diodelaser series serve as flexible tool for laser induced fluorescence (LIF), Raman spectroscopy and resonance spectroscopy. The high optical output power also allows the detection of multiphoton processes. Digital printing Exposure with high power 532 nm laser light allows the direct digital patterning of photopolymers in stamping press. Thanks to the excellent beam profile of the PEGASUS THOR laser, the beam can be highly focussed in order to reach a high printing resolution. Ophthalmology The DPSS laser ist a commonly used tool in ophthalmology. Especially in photocoagulation applications, e.g. thermal eye treatment, 532 nm laser with optical power between 500 mw and 3 W are widely used, to illuminate the damaged tissue. Long range alignment During manufacturing process of large alloy plates, the rolled sheets or slabs with lengths > 20 m have to be precisely aligned to each other, in order to continue the production process, e.g. the cutting to correct dimension. This often needs the positioning and alignment over distances > 50 m. The PEGASUS high power line laser serve as ideal tools, because the preferable green or blue line is well visible for the worker, even under extremely bright environment conditions. Laser display / Entertainment Typical professional laser display and entertainmant systems are a combination of laser modules with different colors via difficult beam forming, for example different lens and mirror components. The compact PEGASUS multicolor laser have high quality internal beam shaping optics for each color channel, in order to be directly used for integration in scanner set-up. Beside the very compact housing, the system becomes nearly maintenance-free. Forensic illumination Via fluorescence processes, due to laser light illumination, the sensitivity for detection of latent fingerprints, body fluids, hairs and fibers and other samples could be enhanced at least 10 times, compared to conventional methods. Different color bands in the UV, visible range or IR is utilized for for detection on different surfaces textures or backgrounds. Therefore the PEGASUS multicolor systems with up to six color channels could be used as extremely versatile illumination source to give detailed evidences which are invisible under normal white light. Despite high power the laser shows near TEM00 beam profile with typical M2 < 2. 532 nm 2000-3000 mw As the pumping diode is located inside the electronics driver housing, there is only low cooling requirement for the laser head. As the pumping diode is located inside the laser head, there is no fiber connection between laser head and power supply, which maximizes the laser system in flexibility and portability. A small footprint leads to minimized volume of customers system. With divergence < 1 mrad (800 mw version) and < 1.5 mrad (1.6 W version) and near TEM00 mode shape, the beam can be directly used for most applications without any additional optics. PEGASUS Linienlaser Diodenlaser Festkörperlaser Diode laser systems MINI-C- Series Integrated driver The MINI-C is a compact laser with high output power up to 500 mw, available with different wavelengths in the "red", "green" or "blue" spectral range. IR wavelenghts are available on request. The optical specifications are similar to the MINI series, but the MINI-C includes the electronic driver in the laser housing. To make the laser an universal stand alone tool mainly for industrial measurement application. With line generator the laser is very easy to use for high speed bright image processing. Via trigger signal 0-5 VDC, the output power can be directly modulated DC - 200 khz. Diode driver assemblies 3 Channel Laser Diode Controller The PEGASUS multichannel driver PL.LD230-3C-1, allows the user to control the current of 3 laser diodes up to 6 A. In combination with integrated controller for thermo electric cooler (TEC), the benchtop device is an ideal accessorie for a plug and play laser system. The temperature controller is compatible with standard thermistors. The front panel offers a very easy operation with current adjustment potentiometer and information display for each channel. Laboratory version The OEM drivers are dedicated to industrial applications with limited space. The baseplate of the OEM modules have to be adequately heatsinked. To prevent the laser from overheating, the driver inhibits overtemperature switch off, indicated by red LED. Diode driver assemblies 6 channel Laser Diode controller The PEGASUS multichannel driver PL.LD230/6C/2T/A, allows the user to control the current of 6 different high power laser diodes up to 2 A (constant current) each. With 2 integrated TEC controller, different channels can be set at factory to different temperature set points in order to optimize LD wavelengths and efficiencies. The temperature controller is compatible with standard thermistor 10 kohm = 25 C. To prevent the adapted laser from overheating, the driver inhibits overtemperature switch off. The front panel offers a very easy operation with current adjustment potentiometer and information display for each channel. Overtemperature switch off is indicated by red LED. Front panel Via front panel switch, the device provides different operation modes: In internal mode, the current of each channel can be directly controlled with potentiometer. In external mode, analoge modulation up to 200 khz for each channel is possible, supplied by external trigger signal to BNC connectors at the rear panel. Trim potis allow the setting of minimum and maximum current limit to reduce the risk of accidental adjustment. PEGASUS Order information Specifications Technical specifications are subject to change without notification. The suitability of a product for its intended use should be checked through the customer before ordering. Shipping Unless given a written instruction PEGASUS shall select the carrier. PEGASUS will select the most efficient and economical method. In case of a preferred shipping carrier the customer has to give the name, address, phone number of the shipper. The delivered goods have to be checked without delay. Obvious defects must be written presented to PEGASUS within 10 days after receipt of the goods. Price All prices listed are in EUR and subject to change without notification. All products are shipped from respective factory. All additional costs as packaging, customs duty, VAT and insurance will be added on invoice. Payment The invoices are billed in EURO and should be paid within 30 days net. PEGASUS reserves the right to require full or particular payments in advance. Returns The customer has to return the product prepaid and insured to PEGASUS, under PEGASUS RMA number. If the complaint is in time and rightful it is subject to PEGASUS to select according guarantee to improve the goods or to deliver other perfect goods. Where any product is returned without any itemized statement of claimed defects PEGASUS will not evaluate the product but will return it to the customer at the customer expense... Errors excepted.
