Faculty may access the system from the CLC Home page located at: http://www.clcillinois.edu On the CLC Home page use the Faculty/Staff link in the top navigation bar.. Under Resources for Faculty & Staff click the myclccenter link The sign in screen for myclccenter appears.. Enter your User ID and Password. Enter your User ID. This is the same User ID you use to sign on to your office computer. The only change is that you must use upper case letters. Example: ABC or if you have an ID using your name: SSMITH. Enter your password. The first time you log into the system, your password will be your seven digit CLC employee ID. (If you don t remember your employee ID, it s on your pay check stub.) After you have initially logged into the system, you will be prompted to change your password. Follow the prompts you see on the screen to re set your password.. Click Login. Once logged in, you will see a menu list (similar to the list below) on the left-hand side of the screen. 4. Click Self Service to expand it. 5. Click Faculty Center (either on the left or in the Main Menu on the right). If not, use the Change Term button to select the correct term.. Click Class Roster icon next to the class you want to view or print. Professional Development Center October, 008

View or Print a Class Roster (continued): Class Roster appears. Part-Time Faculty Guide. Click Printer Friendly Version. 4. When the Print Dialog box appears, click Print. Enter and Submit Grades:. Make sure you are in the correct term to select a class for grade entry. If not, use the Change Term button to select the correct term.. Click Grade Roster icon next to the class you want to grade. Enter and Submit Grades (continued): Part-Time Faculty Guide Grade Roster appears. 4. Enter grades using the drop down list or type in a grade. You can only type in a valid grade. 4. Approve the Roster and Save. Use Notify to Send E-mail (to one student):. Click the Notify checkbox to the left of the student s name you want to notify. Student s name in the Name field, serves as a link if there is an e-mail address on record. (See # in graphic above.) E-mail window (single student) appears with the student s e-mail address automatically in the To field.. Type your message, to the student, in Message Text field.. Click Send. Use Notify to Send E-mail (to all students in a class):. Click Notify All Students. The Send Notification window appears.. Type your message to the students in Message Text field.. Click Send Notification (at the bottom of the Send Notification window). Use Notify to Send E-mail (to a group of students):. Click the Notify checkbox to the left of each student s name you want to notify.. Click Notify Selected Students. Professional Development Center October, 008 5

Use Notify to Send E-mail (to a group of students) (continued): The Send Notification window appears. 4 Your e-mail address automatically appears in the From and To fields. Students e-mail addresses automatically populate the Blind Carbon Copy (BCC) field. You can type in additional e-mail addresses if you wish others to receive copies of the e-mail, such as deans.. Type your message to the students in Message Text field. 4. Click Send Notification. This e-mail is sent by the PeopleSoft system and not through your Outlook account. Since your address is automatically populated in the To field, you will receive a copy of the e-mail in your CLC inbox. Professional Development Center October, 008 6
