02 Planning
Planning Tips 1. One power supply can support 8 ISs or 6 OSs (maximum). 2. If there are more than 1 IS in one apartment, it should need a IP Gateway. 3. If customer needs virtual indoor station function, it should need a IP Gateway. 4. If customer wants to avoid public access to their private devices(ip camera, KNX devices, etc), it should need a IP Gateway. 5. The following devices can be powered by PoE* switch or local power supply: 7 indoor station, Building outdoor station, Villa outdoor station, Mini Outdoor station. 6. The following devices can only be powered by local power supply: IP gateway, card reader, lift control, relay module, guard unit. August 23, 2017 Slide 6 Remark: PoE follows 802.3af regulation.
