PROJECTOR Panasonic PT-LZ370 Projector This room is equipped with an Extron MediaLink system that allows users to quickly and easily switch between different sources. The inputs on switch are clearly indicated and will correspond to device you wish to use. To operate projector: 1.) Press Display ON button on Extron switch. (The ON button will blink for 30 seconds while system warms up.) 2.) Select appropriate video device using INPUT buttons on Extron switch. 3.) Adjust VOLUME knob on Extron switch to reach desired level. On/Off Input Buttons Volume Knob 2

AUDIO SYSTEM Built-In Stereo Audio Amplifier To adjust audio settings: Like video settings, audio for all devices may be adjusted with volume controls on Extron controller. To adjust audio settings: 1.) Adjust VOLUME knob on Extron controller to reach desired level. Volume Knob 3

DOCUMENT CAMERA Samsung SDP-860 Document Camera To use document camera: 1.) Make sure MediaLink system system is turned ON. 2.) Use DOC CAM button on MediaLink Controler to turn on document camera and select document camera as video source. 4

DVD/VCR Windows Media DVD Player While this room is not equipped with a dedicated DVD player, DVDs can be played through PC s DVD drive. To play a DVD: 1.) Make sure PC and projector are turned ON and select computer from MediaLink controller. 2.) Insert your DVD into PC s DVD drive. 3.) If video playback software does not automatically open, launch Windows Media Player from application menu. 5

COMPUTER HP Computer To use computer: 1.) LOGON to computer using your UWSP username and password. 2.) To display computer s screen on projector, press ON button on Extron Controller. After ON button stops flashing, press PC button on Extron Controller to select computer as audio/video source. Unlocking a computer: If PC s screen indicates that it has been locked by anor user, you can unlock system by restarting it. To restart a locked computer: 1.) Press and hold POWER button on computer until it shuts down (typically, you will need to hold button for 5 to 10 seconds before sequence will begin). 2.) Press power button again to restart PC. When login screen appears, enter your UWSP username and password. NOTE TO USERS: Please remember to logoff computer when finished. After 60 minutes of inactivity, classroom computers will automatically lock, preventing subsequent users from logging on. If a computer has accidentally been left locked by anor user, please see section on Unlocking a Computer above. 6
