BANGALORE METRO RAIL CORPORATION LIMITED (A Joint Venture of Govt. of India & Govt. of Karnataka) III Floor, BMTC Complex, K.H.Road, Shanthinagar, Bangalore 27 No. BMRCL/ 31/ ADM / 2018/ O&M Date: 26.2.2018 NOTIFICATION FOR CONTRACT APPOINTMENT Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited, a Joint Venture of Government of India and Government of Karnataka, is a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) entrusted with the responsibility of implementing the Metro Rail Project in the city of Bangalore. BMRCL invites applications from qualified and experienced personnel for appointment to positions in the Operations and Maintenance Wing. All appointments proposed will be on contract basis only. The maximum age limit for the post of General Manager is 50 years, Dy. General Manager is 45 years, for Managers it is 40 years and for Assistant Managers, Section Engineers, and Junior Engineers it is 35 years. However in case of deserving candidates having relevant qualification and experience, age will be relaxed at the discretion of the Company. Should have experience of at least 5 years in maintenance of Signalling/ Telecommunication Assets of Railways / Metro Railway. Should have experience in issuing safety certificate of signalling works for at least 10 interlocking systems in case of Railways; or one system in respect of Metro Railway. 3. Dy. General Manager (P Way) / CSW 1 Degree in Civil 15 Years in the Permanent Way / Maintenance / Construction in the Railways / Metro / Railway PSU. 4 Dy. General Manager (Traction) 5 Dy. General Manager (F&A) 1 Degree in Electrical / Electronic / Mechanical 1 Should be a Graduate from a recognized University and Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India / Institute of Costs and Works Accounts of India / Institute of Company Secretaries of India. minimum 15 years. Out of this, minimum of 5 years experience in Electrification /traction distribution & power supply in Railways/ Suburban Metro system. Candidates having worked in Modern Metro Rail System will be preferred. At least 15 years postqualification experience in Finance and Accounts/ Costing which should include at least 5 years at the level of Manager or equivalent. Should be proficient in computer usage. 2

In case of candidates having CA/ CS/ ICWA inter, minimum 2 years post qualification experience in finance / Accounts / Audit. 3

10 Asst. Manager (HR) 4 Graduate from recognised University with Dip. in Personnel Management or equivalent minimum of 5 years in large company viz. Railway / PSU/ Metro / Government State/ Central and have handled recruitment, training, IR activities etc. 11 Manager (IT) 2 B.E. in Computer Science / Electronics & Telecommunication minimum 10 years in Government / reputed IT Company. Out of this, at least 5 years experience in maintenance and operation of IT systems. 12 Asst. Manager (IT) 2 B.E. in Computer Science / Electronics & Telecommunication Experience of managing Data Centre, Database Management System, LAN and EPABX will be an added advantage Domain knowledge of. Net Technologies with backend SQL Server / Oracle, Networking and Client Server Technologies is minimum 7 years, out of which at least 3 years in maintenance and operation of IT. Experience of managing Data Centre, Database Management System, LAN and EPABX will be an added advantage. Working experience in JAVA,.NET, VB, Web Designing and ERP will be added advantage. CUG mobile facility and conveyance will be extended as per extant Rules of the Company. II. PERIOD OF CONTRACT APPOINTMENT 1. The Contract Appointment will be for a period of 1-3 years. 2. The contract of appointment may be terminated by either side by giving three months notice or by paying the contractual remuneration of three months in lieu of notice period, if the circumstances so warrant. III. CONDITIONS 1. Candidates who have been shortlisted will only be called for interview. 5

2. The experience is post qualification and the minimum required. Mere possession of minimum experience does not confer any right to be called for interview / selection. 3. Any canvassing by or on behalf of the candidates or to bring political or other outside influence with regard to selection /appointment shall be a disqualification. 4. Selection will be through Interview by a Committee constituted by the Competent Authority. IV. SELECTION 1. Candidates should fill in the application on-line, take a print out of the same and submit along with copies of all certificates in support of qualification and experience prescribed for the post. Candidates who fail to send hard copy of the on-line application along with relevant documents will not be considered even though they have submitted application on-line. 2. The application of any candidate found guilty of impersonation or submitting fabricated documents or making statements, which are false or incorrect or indulging in suppression of facts, attempting to use unfair means for the purpose of recruitment, will be liable for rejection. 3.
