LAT: About DRF Program Author Role Forms The Form section of the Content Editor includes a custom form, created by a Coordinator in your organization, which must be completed as part of fulfilling the requirement to which it is attached. The Form section ONLY appears in a DRF Program if a Form has been specified for the requirement in the DRF Template. A Complete Form button displays in the right panel of the DRF Work page, together with the form name. In addition a Form button can be found in the Add bar at the bottom right panel of the page. To complete a form 1. On the left panel of the Work page, click the requirement for which you want to complete a form. 2. Click either the Complete Form button (next to the form name) or the Form button (at the bottom of the screen). You are navigated to the Respond to form page. 3. Complete the form fields. The form can contain a combination of the following types of elements: Section header Subsection header Open ended (text/comment area) Open ended - 2 column format (text/comment area) Choice - one answer (radio buttons or pull-downs) Choice - multiple answers (checkboxes) Rating Scale If the form contains at least one (1) Open-ended (text/ element area) or Open ended 2 column format (text/comment area) element with a Medium or Long answer text box for your response, the HTML Formatting Toolbar preference link displays on the form. If enabled by your preference (in My Account ), the HTLM toolbar appears in Medium or Long answer boxes. The toolbar disappears when you click away from the text fields. As a result, the text areas display all text including the HTML tags. 4. (Optional) To periodically save your form entries, click Save Draft. 5. (Optional) Check Spelling. 6. (Optional) To view a printer-friendly version of the form, click Print. This loads a preview pop-up, which you can choose to export to Word. 7. When you have completed the form,, click on the Save and Return button to return to the Work page. T 1.800.311.5656 e help@taskstream.com 18

Adding Attachments 1. Select the type of file you wish to add. If you choose to add a file saved on your computer, select the A file saved on your computer option, click the Browse button to find the file you want to attach. If you choose to add a previously uploaded file, select the Attach a previously uploaded file option, and then select the category of work and the specific work product where the file is attached. If you choose to add work that you created in Taskstream, select the An artifact created in Taskstream option. You will then be able to select the type of work to be added (web page, web folio, etc.), and the specific work you would like to attach. 2. Name the file. 3. Add a description of the file, if applicable. 4. Select the checkbox if you would like to specify standards that this attachment addresses. 5. Click the Add File button when finished. T 1.800.311.5656 e help@taskstream.com 5

6. Click Save and Return to go back to the main program work area when you are done adding attachments. You may add as many attachments as you wish. You have now successfully attached work to your Directed Response Folio (DRF)! Change the Order of Your Content Once you have added at least two (2) content sections to any area, a Reorder Content button is displayed at the top of the right work panel. Use this button to reorganize the various types of content you have added. 1. Click in the right work panel. 2. In the Drag to Reorder Content pop-up box you will see the various content types that you have already added to the selected area. There are two approaches to Reorder Content: Drag and drop content sections Select (click with mouse or, if using a touch-screen, tap) the row of the content type that you want to move. Drag that row through the list to the preferred new position. As you drag, an orange placeholder indicates the potential new positions in which the selected item might land. Release the drag. The row comes to rest in the last position held by the placeholder. Click the Save button. T 1.800.311.5656 e help@taskstream.com 6

Manually re-number content type sections Type new position numbers in the text boxes that display to the far right of every content type on this list. (Optional) Preview your new display order by clicking the Reorder button that appears below the column of text boxes. The new order is applied immediately: any numbering conflicts are automatically resolved, and rows automatically shift position according to their new numbers. If your manual entry includes duplicate numbers, for example if two rows are marked as 3, the reorder function will automatically resolve these conflicts. Click the Save button. Submitting the Requirement to Your Evaluator 1. Click the Submit Requirement button from the top of the Work tab. 2. Follow the instructions on the screen to submit your assignment and add comments, as necessary. T 1.800.311.5656 e help@taskstream.com 7

LAT: About DRF Program Author Role THE EVALUATION PROCESS Submit Work for Evaluation Once your work for a DRF requirement is complete, you must submit that work for Evaluation in order to receive a score. If your DRF program has enabled a Review process, you will have previously requested feedback from a Reviewer and, using the Reviewer's comments, updated your work. When work is submitted, it becomes locked. Authors can cancel submissions before the evaluation has started in most cases (Your learning community may have disabled this option for selected DRF programs. When this is the case, after you submit the work that completes the final requirement, this DRF will no longer appear on your home page. If these conditions apply, you will be alerted at the point of submission). Further edits are not allowed after the Evaluator assigns a score, unless the Evaluator sends the work back for revision. If you need your work unlocked, contact your instructor or the Program manager You can Submit Work for evaluation from your choice of either the Work tab or the Score/Results tab. From the left panel of the Work tab, select the requirement area you want to submit. Click the Submit Work button that displays in the upper-right corner of the page. The Submit button is disabled if the due date has expired and the Program Manager has not Authorized an exception to enable you to submit the work after the due date. If your Program has been set up to submit all requirements within a category at once, when you Submit Work from the Work tab for one requirement, ALL requirements in the same category are automatically locked, whether or not you have added/uploaded work for with those other requirements. From the grid on the Score Results tab, locate the category or requirement that you want to submit. From the Actions column, click the Submit Work button or, if your Program has been set up to submit all requirements within a category at once, the Submit Category button. The Submit procedure varies slightly, based on whether or not your program requires you to manually select specific Evaluators. To submit work for evaluation, when selecting Evaluators is not necessary 1. As described above, select the category or requirement that you want to submit and click the Submit Work or Submit Category button. A pop-up confirmation window displays. The message in this window contains important information specific to the requirement you about to submit. Before you confirm submission, read this message carefully. 2.
