He doesn't explain that when you gain access to a box, you might not be able to use your tools so you need to know how to write them on the fly. Also Wireshark is not a tool for hacking. It is a packet analyzer that sometimes gets used as a hacking tool. Most professionals have already written their own specific packet analyzer so they can inject packets which Wireshark cant. This is pretty much a joke. The book is poorly written. It's poorly edited.the reviews are all fake. One review talks about how they can understand C code better because of the book. The book only mentions that C is a good language to know. That's it! The recommended tools are on every security site known to man. There is nothing useful here.
