Once you bridge, you will be utilizing the Internet. Before you begin installing AnchorApp, please review the System Requirements and fill out the information below: AnchorApp System Requirements Pentium or equivalent class processor At least 64MB of Ram 4MB free disk space Microsoft Windows 98, NT, 2000, or XP Operating System Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or later. Adobe Acrobat Reader 4.0 or later WinFSC Rater or Quote Works AMS Rater (Arizona only) High speed internet connection: DSL, cable modem, or faster Laser or Deskjet printer Enter the location of your FSC.exe file and your AnchorApp User ID and Password for future reference: FSC.exe file is located: :\ (example: C:\WinFSC\Program\fsc.exe) If you need help locating your FSC.exe file, please refer to page 19. AnchorApp User ID: Password: Note: This will be different from your Web User ID and Password. If you meet the System Requirements and have entered the information above, you are now ready to install AnchorApp. Page 1
Installing AnchorApp 1. Using Microsoft Internet Explorer, go to www.anchorapp.com. Note: Do not login at this time. 2. Click Requirements. Page 2
3. AnchorApp System Requirements window will be displayed. On the Anchor WebLink Components line, click Download here. Warning: you must have Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or later or the installation may fail. Page 3
4. The Welcome to AnchorApp Prodcuer Services page will be displayed. Enter your User ID and Password. Click "Submit". Page 4
5. The Install Anchor WebLink Components page will be displayed. There are two different install options. a. Stand Alone / File Server option. i. If you are using Quoteworks AMS rater, do not use this option. ii. If this is the very first time you are installing AnchorApp and it has never been installed in any other computers in your office - Choose this option. Go to page 6. iii. If AnchorApp is installed on another computer in your office and your FSC.exe is located on your hard drive - Choose this option. Go to page 6. b. Client option. i. If you are using Quoteworks - Choose this option. Go to page 13. ii. If AnchorApp is installed on another computer in your office and your FSC.exe is located on a network - Choose this option. Stand Alone / File Server Option continued: 3. During this time, you may receive one or more security warnings. Review each security warning to ensure that Anchor General Insurance Agency, Inc. or Microsoft signed the content, and then click Yes to install the software. Page 9
Stand Alone / File Server Option continued: 4. A pop-up window titled Select the FSC program file will be displayed. Use this window to locate where WinFSC has been installed. We are looking for the file called FSC.exe, which usually resides in the drive:\winfsc\program directory. 5. Use the Look in field to navigate to where the FSC.exe file resides. When you re at the right location, the file (fsc.exe) will be displayed in the middle section of the window. Page 10

Hint: A quick way to locate FSC.exe file. Find the WinFSC icon, shown below, on your desktop. Right-click the icon, and select properties for the menu list. The location of the FSC.exe file is shown here Page 19
