GENERAL INFORMATION WELCOME TO THE 2018 AMWAY REGIONAL EXPERIENCES: These events are designed to help new IBOs understand Amway products and resources and show prospects how to start their own Amway business. Each Regional Experience is FREE and available to IBOs within 300 miles of the local event city. Up to two IBOs may register per business. Limit five prospects per IBOship while space is available. EACH REGIONAL EXPERIENCE HAS: An interactive product expo with people who know the brands The chance to hear from and talk with business experts Tips for getting started and growing businesses from IBO leaders The ability to register your prospect at the event AMWAY REGIONAL EXPERIENCE POLICY ON CHILDREN/GUESTS: We know that many of you involve your families in your business, and we applaud you. However, Amway Regional Experiences are designed exclusively for IBOs and prospects. Children are not permitted to attend, even if accompanied by their parents. We appreciate your cooperation in compliance with this policy. TICKET/SCHEDULE: All information is available at the Registration site. After you register, you ll receive a ticket email on the Thursday before the event that also has the details of the event. PARKING: Refer to the specific registration page for your event location parking and venue information. Please note that parking is not reimbursable. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS 1. 2. 3. When and where are the 2018 Amway Regional Experiences and when does registration open? Please see on page 4 of this guide. Registration links will be emailed to IBOs within a 300-mile radius of each event city. These links will be sent approximately 4 5 weeks prior to each event date. May I send this to downline IBOs who didn t receive an invitation? Yes, but they will need to email customer.service@amway.com or call 800-253-6500, Monday Friday, 9 a.m. 11 p.m. (ET), and Saturday, 10 a.m. 5 p.m. (ET), to request the location they would like to attend. If you are a Platinum or above IBO, you ll receive your invitation in advance of downlines. Please have them wait until they get their own invitation before calling customer service. If the downline is outside the 300-mile radius, please contact customer service for assistance. How do I register? It s simple: Once you receive your official invitation by email, you can register online. If you are experiencing technical difficulties, please contact Amway Customer Service. 4. 5. 6. 7. Can I register if I am outside of the radius, or can I register for another location other than the one sent to me? Yes, however you will need to contact Amway Customer Service and request the event you want to attend. For the best experience, we suggest that you try to attend your local event if you can. Amway is not responsible for transportation or travel reimbursements. Will I receive an email confirmation that shows I ve registered? Yes, once you register you will receive a confirmation email. What do I need to bring (i.e., confirmation number, printed ticket, etc.)? On the Thursday before the event, you will receive your ticket with a barcode via email. Print this and bring it with you to the event, or bring a digital copy on your mobile phone. I registered for an event but cannot find my confirmation or barcode. Check your email for a registration confirmation and if you cannot find it, please email customer.service@amway.com 5
8. 9. 10. 11. 12. 13. Can I register a downline or upline IBO? Yes, just make sure that the person has a unique ticket and brings it to the event. How can I find out if downline IBOs have registered? Please ask downline IBOs if they have registered online and followed the instructions. Will walk-ins be allowed at the event? No, you must preregister and have a ticket in hand for the event. I want to drive to the event. Can I be reimbursed for mileage? Sorry, mileage is not reimbursable. Where do I park and is parking reimbursable? And when I arrive at my event location, how do I find the event? Please refer to the specific Registration page for your event location. It will contain tabs for parking and venue information; however, parking is not reimbursable. Can children attend? Is child care available? No, children may not attend the event, and child care is not provided. If you choose to stay in a hotel, the hotel concierge can provide a list of local resources that you can contact for child care. Amway cannot speak to any references provided by the hotel. We appreciate your cooperation in compliance with this policy. 14. 15. 16. 17. Will all our meals be included during the event? No meals will be provided during the day. Feel free to purchase food during breaks. Are meeting spaces wheelchair accessible? Yes. Please make note of any special medical needs when you register online. What should I wear? Casual apparel is fine. Will interpretation and translation be provided in my language? Language assistance will be provided for languages listed at registration. When registering, please indicate which language you will require at the event. If there is not enough demand for your language at a particular location, we will not be providing assistance. You may bring your own interpreter if desired. Spanish interpretation will be provided at all locations. 18. How do I modify or cancel my registration? Can I give my ticket to another IBO? Use the registration link to cancel or modify your registration. Or, if you cannot attend, you may give your ticket to another IBO. However, they must be an IBO and not a prospect. 6
19. 20. Is there a special entrance or check-in for Platinum and above IBOs? Yes, there will be a dedicated check-in line. Are there hotel rooms reserved for attendees? No, however, feel free to make hotel arrangements on your own. Note, this is a one day event so an overnight stay is not needed. 21. Can I get on a waiting list? Yes, follow the registration link as normal and if a spot opens up, you will be notified that you are confirmed for the event. If you are not contacted, please assume the event is full. 22.
