Introduction Kenya launched NCCRS in April 2010, it proides: A framework for addressing threats of climate change as well as taking adantage of any opportunities that may arise for climate resilient Kenya; The means to actiely engage in innoatie processes necessary to address climate change. National Climate Change Action Plan (NCCAP) a) Long-term National Low Carbon Deelopment Pathway to facilitate the mainstreaming of climate change in Kenya Vision 2030 and Medium Term Plans (MTP). Donor Coordination A number of donors are engaged in climate change actiities, e.g. DFID, SIDA, DANIDA, AFD, JICA, USAID; etc.; Deelopment Partnership Forum (DPF) meets biannually to reflect on their ongoing g cooperation, discuss political and policy deelopments as they relate to Kenya s economic and social deelopment program in Vision 2030, and identify the joint goals MEMR coordinates Donor climate change coordination group (CCCG) quarterly meetings 11 11/30/2011 4:11 PM
