1 IOT CONNECTIVITY DISRUPTED

2 1NCE IS ABOUT ENERGIZING YOUR BUSINESS AND CREATING NEW OPPORTUNITIES IN AREAS YET UNCHARTED. START YOUR GROWTH STORY BASED ON IOT CONNECTIVITY PROVIDED FASTER, EASIER AND CHEAPER THAN EVER BEFORE!

IOT CONNECTIVITY BROUGHT TO ITS CORE 1NCE DATA PLAN 1NCE FOCUS MADE FOR NARROWBAND & LOW BANDWIDTH APPLICATIONS smart meter lighting high value assets warehouse MGMT machine tools smart parking smoke alarms white goods bicycles cylinders skips security alarms water pipelines waste bins smart agriculture pipelines connected buttons yet unknown * 500 MB included additional volume bookable In a world of rising cost, complexity and risk 1NCE delivers unbeatable pricing, cutting edge technology and maximum simplicity.

PROPOSITION AND PARTNERSHIP E sim & multi IMSI capabilities & process automation Focus on low bandwidth use cases through lowest cost IoT flat rate 10 years insured lifetime fee model, prolongable B2B grade support Tier 1 EU 28 plus 2 connectivity & transparency, more GEOS coming Deutsche Telekom AG is partner for 1NCE. DTAG guarantees transparent IoT connectivity across a vast number of territories with a special focus on Europe. VPN & automated API & FOTA Services available NB-IoT, 2G, 3G seamlessly available, Cat M when available

5 THE DNA OF NB-IOT LOW COST Of modem (< 4*) LOWESTPOWER CONSUMPTION Of modem & ultra long batterylifetime (appr.10 years with two AA batteries) LOW DATA RATES A few 100bit/s up to 250kbit/s** HIGHNUMBER OF DEVICES ~100.000 connected per cell PUBLIC NETWORK in operator managed licensed spectrum 3GPP DEEP INDOOR PENETRATION, EXTENDED COVERAGE + 20dB link budget compared to GSM EASE OF USE Direct use no coupling to HUB (e.g. router, Smartphone) BI-DIRECTIONAL COMMUNICATION Uplink and Downlink (Software Updates possible) STANDARDIZED 3GPP Release 13 SIMBASED SECURITY SIM based authentication, integrity, ciphering * Industry target and requirement in 3GPP. Has to be approved by module suppliers. ** depends on cell load and radio condition

PROS AND CONS LICENSED VS. UNLICENSED SPECTRUM P LICENSED (NB-IOT/LTE-M) Proven technology, based on standardized cellular technology Better capacity and coverage, exceeds unlicensed standards Leverages existing mobile network infrastructure Better harmonization of spectrum across countries and regions Longevity: Owned and controlled by Mobile Operators stable entities that provide high assurance on business continuity over the device lifetime UNLICENSED (LORA, SIGFOX) Allows to quickly establish private networks that can be deployed everywhere Already available in many European countries O NB-IoT and LTE-M only available in few countries so far Non-harmonized regulation across different regions Variety of spectrum bands limits harmonization Reliability cannot be predicted and interference cannot be managed Only suited for non-critical applications Sources: Mobile Experts, RioT Research, Beecham Research, 1NCE Analysis

8 PERFORMANCE COMPARISON LICENSED VS. UNLICENSED Medium Power Consumption LoRa NB-IoT LTE-M The data capacity of unlicensed spectrum based connectivity standards like LoRa and SigFox is lower than that of NB-IoT or LTE-M. This is due to a limited number of messages that can be transmitted per day, (especially in European networks). They are primarily designed to transport tens of bytes per hour rather than kilobytes which allows them to consume less power than NB-IoT and LTE-M. Low SigFox 10 1,000 10k 1M 10M 100M Bytes/Hour But thanks to an optimized and a lean modem architecture NB-IoT and LTE-M can support similar device lifetimes of up to 5 to 10 years as well. UNLICENSED LICENSED
