3 Purpose of the RMA Xchange: WHY WAS IT CREATED The RMA Xchange is a group of online communities that was created to facilitate discussion amongst RMA members assigned to the community.

WHY USE IT? CHAPTER DISCUSSION FORUM 6 Chapters should use this exchange of information and ideas to further the success of their chapter year over year and achieve chapter goals: an extension of the Chapter Leaders Conference if you will.

12 USING THE RMA XCHANGE Communities: To view and access the communities you belong to: - select the Communities tab on the home page - then click My Communities from the drop-down menu.
13 TO MAKE A NEW POST Go to your community s home page, and click the Discussion tab.
14 TO MAKE A NEW POST CONT. Click the blue Post a New Message button
15 TO MAKE A NEW POST CONT. This will take you to a screen that looks like the below. Fill in your message, and then click the blue Send button.
16 TO REPLY TO A DISCUSSION Click on the Reply to Discussion link on the post you wish to respond to.
HOW TO EDIT YOUR PROFILE Log in to the RMA Xchange homepage. Click on your profile picture, found at the top right corner of the screen (if you have not uploaded a photo, it will look like a gray silhouette). This will open a drop-down menu. Click the Profile button. 17

19 HOW TO EDIT YOUR PROFILE - CONT To change or add a profile picture, click on the gray Action button under your picture. By clicking the blue import your info button, you can load all of your LinkedIn information directly onto the profile. To add information manually: o In each section, the blue + Add button will allow you to add new entries (you can add multiple colleges, jobs, social links, etc). o If information is already listed, clicking on the pencil icon will allow you to edit it. o The trash icon next to the pencil will allow you to delete an entry entirely.
SECURITY SETTINGS 20 From your profile, select My Account. In Privacy Settings you will be able to edit who has access to all of your information, including email address, phone number, etc. Please remember to scroll to the bottom and click Save when you are finished. The Email Preferences option will allow you to set what kinds of emails you receive from the RMA Xchange (for example: invites to join communities, emails from admins, etc.)
CHANGING THE NOTIFICATION FREQUENCY 21 The Community Notifications option is where you can change how many emails you receive from each Xchange group you belong to. The options are: a) Real Time a new notification every time someone makes a post in that group. b) Daily Digest one email a day containing all the posts from the last 24 hours. c) No Email no emails ever from that Xchange group. 23 LIBRARIES If your Xchange Community has a library, then you ll see a tab for it on the top bar.
