Installing the Citrix Citrix Receiver 3.3 frm Citrix Web Interface fr SSL VPN Users Lg int yur PC with an administrative accunt (All Administrative accunts start with the first three letters ADM (i.e. ADMAD1234). If yu d nt have an ADM accunt, please cntact yur LAN ADMIN. G t the fllwing URL, by clicking the link belw, while hlding Ctrl. Yu can als get there by clicking Start - > Run and cpying this URL int the text bx and click OK: https://cnnectins.cfs.ny.gv/citrix/clientfiles Once the website has laded, click n the Installatin files and instructins link under the Citrix Receiver Versin 3.3. The link is highlighted in the picture belw. A dialg bx will pen. Click Save. Page 1 f 13
Save the file n yur desktp. Once the dwnlad is cmplete, Click Clse Page 2 f 13
G t yur desktp and Duble click CitrixClientUpgrade Flder. When the flder pens, Click n Extract All Files On the Extract Cmpressed (Zipped) Flders windw, Click Extract Page 3 f 13
The files will be extracted t a CitrixClientUpgrade flder n yur desktp, which shuld pen autmatically after the extract is cmplete. (If nt, g t yur desktp and then pen the CitrixClientUpgrade flder, shwn belw, t access the install files.) Once yu have these flders pen, yu are ready t upgrade t the Citrix Reciever 3.3. Hwever, in rder t install the Citrix Receiver 3.3 crrectly, all lder versin f the Citrix Client must be uninstalled. The fllwing steps shuld be taken t make sure that all ld Citrix Clients are uninstalled, and then install the new Citrix Receiver 3.3. In the CitrixClientUpgrade, Duble click the CitrixClient11.2Uninstall flder Duble Click the n UnInstallPNAgent.vbs t start the uninstallatin prcess. Page 4 f 13
It will give yu tw warnings that the installatin is starting n yur PC. Each pp up will stay up fr 5 secnds and disappear. D nt tuch yur PC until the installatin has cmpleted If yu are installing n a Windws Vista r a Windws 7 machine, yu will see the fllwing pp-up, asking if yu want t allw the fllwing prgram t make changes t yur cmputer, Click Yes. Once the installatin has cmpleted, there will be a pp-up telling yu the installatin is cmplete. The pp-up will stay up fr 5 secnds and disappear. Page 5 f 13
Once the Uninstall f Citrix Online Plug-in 11.2 is cmplete, g t Start -> Cntrl Panel Once in cntrl panel, if yu are n Windws 7, click n Uninstall a prgram. If yu are n Windws XP, Click n Add/Remve Prgrams Windws 7 Windws XP If there are any Web Clients in the list f prgrams, Right click it, and select Uninstall. Once yu uninstall any Web Clients installed n the PC, Restart the cmputer. Once yur PC is restarted, lg back in with the same ADM accunt yu used fr the uninstall, and duble click the CitrixClientUpgrade flder n yur desktp. Page 6 f 13
In the CitrixClientUpgrade, Duble click the CitrixReceiver3.3_EXTERNAL flder Once yu are in the flder, duble click the InstallReceiver.vbs t install the new client It will give yu tw warnings that the installatin is starting n yur PC. Each pp up will stay up fr 5 secnds and disappear. D nt tuch yur PC until the installatin has cmpleted. Page 7 f 13
If yu are installing n a Windws Vista r a Windws 7 machine, yu will see the fllwing pp-up, asking if yu want t allw the fllwing prgram t make changes t yur cmputer, Click Yes. Once the installatin has cmpleted, there will be a pp-up telling yu the installatin is cmplete. The pp-up will stay up fr 5 secnds and disappear. ACCESSING CONNECTION WITH CITRIX RECEIVER 3.3 In rder t access CONNECTIONS, yu will need t make a ne-time change t yur Citrix Receiver 3.3 cnfiguratin. Duble click the Citrix Receiver in the system tray (lwer right hand crner) An Abut Citrix Receiver windw will pp-up, and in that windw Click n advanced Under advanced, click n Online Plug-in Settings Page 10 f 13
