1 Battery and charging 1.1 What are the battery specifications? Your phone comes with a built-in battery that is non-removable. Its capacity is 3000 mah. 1.2 What are the charger specifications? Your phone comes with a 5 V 1 A charger, but you can also charge your phone using a 5 V 2 A charger. 1.3 After my phone is fully charged, why is the charging icon still displayed on the status bar? This is normal on phones running EMUI 3.1. Unlike EMUI 3.0, with EMUI 3.1, you can still see the charging icon on the status bar even after your phone is fully charged. To check your phone's system version number, go to Settings > About phone > Build number.

2 Hardware and appearance 2.1 Do SIM card slots 1 and 2 both support 4G on my phone? How do I switch SIM cards between slots? (Applicable to phones with dual SIM card support) KIWI phones with dual SIM card support include the KIW-L21, HUAWEI KII-L21, KIW-L22, HUAWEI KII-L22, HUAWEI KII-L23, and KIW-L24. If you are using any of these models, go to Settings > Dual card management > 4G/3G slot to choose a card slot for 4G services. 2.2 Does my phone support 4G? (Applicable to phones with single SIM card support) KIWI phones with single SIM card support include the HUAWEI KII-L21, HUAWEI KII-L22, HUAWEI KII-L23, and HUAWEI KII-L33. The card slot supports 4G services by default. 2.3 What can I do if, after I insert a SIM card and power on my phone, the SIM card isn't detected properly? 1. If is displayed on your phone's standby screen, the inserted SIM card is not detected properly. If is not displayed, your phone has detected your SIM card. 2. If you are sure that your phone has not detected your SIM card, remove the SIM card and insert it back into your phone. Make sure the SIM card is in good contact with the SIM card slot. If the problem persists, try inserting the SIM card into another phone. If the SIM card can be properly detected on that phone, the SIM card is not faulty. In this case, take your phone to an authorized Huawei service center for repair.

2.4 What types of cards are supported by my phone's card slots? Dual SIM card version The upper card slot can accommodate a micro-sim card while the lower card slot can accommodate a nano-sim card and a microsd card. For detailed card slot instructions, see the battery cover protective film. Single SIM card version The upper card slot can accommodate a micro-sim card while the lower card slot can accommodate a microsd card. For detailed card slot instructions, see the battery cover protective film. 2.5 What color does my phone come in? Grey, gold, or silver.

3 System functions and settings 3.1 Does my phone support smart screenshot? 3.2 What languages are supported on my phone? Your phone supports the following 46 languages. (Only the version dedicated for the Middle East supports Farsi.) Chinese-simplified, English (United States), Spanish (Spain), Portuguese (Portugal), French, German, Russian, Italian, Chinese-Hong Kong, Chinese-Taiwan, Japanese, Spanish (United States), Portuguese (Brazil), Swedish, Norwegian, Danish, Czech, Hungarian, Slovak, Polish, Romanian, Greek, Serbian, Bosnian, Macedonian, Bulgarian, Finnish, Estonian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Slovenian, Croatian, Ukrainian, Turkish, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Arabic, Dutch, Thai, Malay, Catalan, Hindi, English-GB, Burmese, Korean, and Hebrew. 3.3 What input methods are pre-installed on my phone? Swype and Google Keyboard. 3.4 Can I double touch the screen to turn it on? Yes. 3.5 Does my phone support drawing letters to open applications when the screen is off? Yes.

3.6 Does my phone support MHL? 3.7 Does my phone support HDMI? 3.8 Does my phone support TV-OUT? 3.9 Does my phone support smartcare? 3.10 Does my phone come with a protective film? Yes. 3.11 Does my phone support driving mode? 3.12 Does my phone support multi-screen interaction? Yes. 3.13 Does my phone support voice wakeup?

4 Network and data sharing 4.1 Does my phone support Bluetooth 4.0 or Bluetooth 4.1 BLE? Your phone supports Bluetooth 4.1. 4.2 Does my phone support the 5 GHz Wi-Fi frequency band? 4.3 Does my phone support infrared remote control? 4.4 What services does my phone support when it is roaming in other countries and regions? In roaming state, your phone supports voice services by default. To surf the Internet, you need to turn on the switches for data services and data roaming (Settings > More > Mobile network > Data roaming). To receive multimedia messages, on the home screen, touch Messaging > Menu > Settings > Advanced and select Retrieve automatically when card 1 roaming or Retrieve automatically when card 2 roaming. 4.5 Is the GSM 850 MHz network frequency available for my phone? Yes.

4.6 What 4G frequency bands are supported by each KIWI model? KIW-L21/HUAWEI KII-L21 in Europe and Southeast Asia: FDD: B3/B7/B8/B20/B1 KIW-L22/HUAWEI KII-L22 in Australia and New Zealand, South Pacific, Taiwan, and Thailand: FDD: B1/B3/B5/B7/B8/B28/B19 HUAWEI KII-L23 in Latin America: FDD: B2/B5/B4/B7/B28 KIW-L24 (dual SIM card version customized for the United States): B2/B4/B5/B12/B17 KII-L33 (single SIM card version customized for Chile): B2/B5/B4/B7/B28 4.7 What 4G network standards does my phone support? What are the supported network speeds? Your phone supports the following 4G network standards: LTE, FDD LTE, WCDMA, and GSM Your phone supports the following maximum network speeds: WCDMA: 384 kbit/s (UL), 384 kbit/s (DL) HSPA Category 24: 5.76 Mbit/s (UL), 42 Mbit/s (DL) EDGE Class 12: 236.8 kbit/s (UL), 236.8 kbit/s (DL) GPRS: 40 kbit/s (UL), 60 kbit/s (DL) LTE-FDD Category 4: 51.0 Mbit/s (UL), 150.8 Mbit/s (DL) LTE-TDD Category 4: 32 Mbit/s (UL), 131 Mbit/s (DL) 4.8 Does my phone support SIM card hot swapping?

5 Security and payment 5.1 Does my phone support NFC? Not if you are using the general version. If you are using a customized version, whether NFC is supported depends on the actual customization features.

6 Camera, music, and video 6.1 Can my phone play HD videos? Yes. 6.2 Does my phone support optical image stabilization (OIS)? 6.3 Does my phone support online translation? 6.4 Does my phone support all-focus mode? Yes. 6.5 Does my phone support smart headset control? 6.6 What type of rear camera sensor does my phone use, BSI or stacked? Your phone uses a stacked rear camera.

7 Calls and contacts 7.1 Why does my phone show I have a 4G signal, but I can't make calls? Making calls requires a 2G or 3G signal. If you have a 4G signal but can't make calls, your phone may be failing to receive a 2G or 3G signal or the call or 2G/3G services are not enabled on the carrier's network. To resolve this problem, try the following: 1. Check whether this problem also occurs on another phone using a SIM card from the same carrier. 2. Insert your SIM card into another 4G phone and check whether the problem still occurs. 3. Contact your carrier and check whether your phone's call and 2G/3G services are enabled.

8 Location services and navigation 8.1 Does my phone support the BeiDou Navigation Satellite System? How do I know whether it is running? No, your phone does not support the BeiDou Navigation Satellite System.
