1. Introduction 1.1. Purpose of the document The document describes the differences of the CLS licensing process between this product (feature) and the standard process of OpenScape License Management (see document License Guidelines). 2. Product Information 2.1. General a) With feature OS Voice V6 Entry Base the Dynamic User quantity is restricted to max 800 licenses. b) With feature OS Voice V6 Entry Base it is not possible the use feature OS Voice V6 Redundancy or feature OS Voice V6 Pre-Production. c) If using more than 5000 Dynamic user (feature OS Voice V6 Dynamic User + feature OS Voice V6 OP Flex ) then feature OS Voice V6 Redundancy is required. After activating the main system, you have to activate feature OS Voice V6 Redundancy onto a second MAC Address. At this point, you will be asked also for the SIEL-ID of the main system. d) The total Dynamic User quantity must not exceed 100000. e) OS Voice V6 Base includes 100000 licenses of OS Voice V6 Static User and 40000 licenses of OS Voice V6 Trunking Session that are added to the license key automatically. f) OS Voice V6 Entry Base includes 800 licenses of OS Voice V6 Static User and 400 licenses of OS Voice V6 Trunking Session that are added to the license key automatically. g) With feature OS Voice V6 Pre-Production, it is possible to generate up to 2 licenses for a Pre-Production environment that equals to the production environment. Activate this feature onto separate MAC Addresses and enter the SIEL-ID of main system as reference. h) The OS Voice V6 OP Flex feature is used to migrate from HiPath 4000 systems <V6 to OS Voice. If this feature is activated a survey question appears where the user has to enter the HiPath 4000 systems ID s (comma separated) the user migrates from. This information is used to generate a special OpenPath Flex Migration report. In the license key the OpenPath Flex feature is treated like Dynamic User licenses. i) With feature OS Voice V6 OP Flex Migration HP4K V6 it is possible to migrate OpenPath Flex licenses from an existing HiPath 4000 V6 system to an OpenScape Voice V6 system. During activation you will be asked to enter the system id of the HiPath 4000 V6 system from where you want to migrate HiPath 4000 Flex to OpenScape Voice Dynamic licenses. j) Upgrades from previous versions are available (see chapter 8). k) License keys for feature OS Voice V6 Product Instance for SL is time limited although the CLS shows them as permanent. All licenses will expire with January 31 st of the following year except when generated after November 30 th. In this case the expiration is extended by one additional year. For those licenses that belong to a valid contract the license keys will be deleted with November 30 th. This will allow the user to regenerate the license key with the new expiration date. l) Feature OS Voice V6 Mobile V7 Evaluation can be used to evaluate an existing OpenScape Voice V6 system the product OpenScape Mobile V7 for 180 days. It is not possible to uses this feature together with feature OS Voice V6 Mobile V7 User. m) Quantity of feature OS Voice V6 Mobile V7 User has to be less or equal the Dynamic User quantity. 4

Rehost Please use the Rehost workflow to change values of additional input fields, e.g. a Standby Server Locking ID. Search for the main Locking ID of the system and perform a Rehost. Re-enter the former main Locking ID and change the value of the field you want to modify, e.g. enter a new Standby Server Locking ID. Please note that it is not possible to search for systems using a Standby Server Locking ID or an additional input value. We recommend to search using: - Locking ID (only the main Locking ID if the product supports Standby Server.) - System ID (if applicable) - Alias Name 6. Shift Partial shift is not possible. 7.
