Release Notes 4. Known Issues in Version 3.1 4 Known Issues in Version 3.1 Following are the known issues in the SmartTAP version 3.1 release: Uninstalling from Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs results in elements of SmartTAP not being removed. To uninstall, use the installation package and select uninstall rather than use Add/Remove Programs. The Audio Player does not allow playback to continue after fast forwarding beyond 200 minutes into the recording. Audio Player Spectrum Analyzer does not function during Live Monitoring. Creating a Certificate Signing Request with the exact same Alias name does not create a new request and the associated 'filename.csr' is 0 KB. Each CSR request must have a unique Alias name. Creating a Certificate Signing Request requires every field to be populated with correct data. If data is omitted from any field, an error is reported in the Command Execution Section of the SmartTAP page. Once the missing data is added and Submit is clicked again, the CSR is completed and 'filename.csr' can be downloaded to the local PC, but the previous error reported is still visible in the GUI. Best practice is to ignore it. Using Chrome: In the SmartTAP LDAP configuration panel, using the scroll bar may cause the LDAP panel to disappear. The issue does not occur with other browsers. Under System>System Settings>Web, if Single Sign-On (SSO) is enabled, the password must always be provided for the SSO configuration, even when simply changing the Web Session Timeout, else the SSO configuration is submitted with a blank password. Announcement Service must be started manually after performing an upgrade. It may take up to five minutes to start recording calls after the Lync plugin is restarted. This limitation is only present when the Lync plugin has been upgraded to SmartTAP 3.1. This issue does not occur in a clean installation of the Lync plugin component. SmartTAP may not present a missed call record for a forwarded call in a Lync/Skype for Business environment. If SSO is enabled, any change to the User 'Security' profile or 'Recording' profile within SmartTAP requires a logout/login of the Lync client. If SSO is enabled, any change to the Kerberos Key Distribution Center or Security Realm requires a restart of the SmartTAP Application Server in the Service Manager. If SSO is enabled and you manually close the Lync Client Conversation Window Extension, you must manually reopen the window. Alternatively, you need to close the Lync Conversation Window and then reopen it; the Lync Client Conversation Window Extension is then automatically displayed. When mapping users from LDAP, every user must have a login ID, and the login ID must be unique. Version 3.1 13 SmartTAP

Release Notes 5. Previous Version Releases 5 Previous Version Releases 5.1 Version 3.0.1 New Features Support for Skype for Business Call Recording Announcement Server A new custom prompt is played to incoming PSTN call participants whose calls may be recorded in Lync / Skype for Business environments. SmartTAP Media Proxy (Skype for Business / Lync) The software service is an RTP Proxy for recorded user / device calls A recorded call is redirected through the Proxy, allowing SmartTAP to capture a copy of the SRTP conversation SmartTAP user / device attributes Named attributes can be added to users and devices, as required, as userspecified annotations. These attributes are informational only and have no direct impact on recording. SmartTAP attributes can also be tagged as recording attributes, which enables them to control how users and devices are identified on the network. There are various categories of recording attributes, depending on the telephone network, such as Extension, Tel-URI, IP Address, etc. SmartTAP attributes can now be mapped to Active Directory attributes to auto-populate user/device information within SmartTAP. Integration with Active Directory is thus significantly enhanced. Audit Trail Results are now easily exported to Excel file. Flexible and Powerful Call Search Capabilities Call metadata is now easily exportable from search results to Excel file. REST API API added to Get Audit Trail history API added to Get/Set SMTP properties API added to Get alarm information syscallid query parameter option was added to retrieve call record by third party Call ID from SIP and Skype for Business / Lync calls only Version 3.1 15 SmartTAP

SmartTAP 5.2 Version 2.7.1 New Features Windows NIC Teaming SmartTAP now supports Windows NIC teaming. 5.3 Version 2.7.0 New Features Calls Search Enhancement Search for calls based on Calling (Caller ID) or Called Party Call Tagging Easily add user definable tags to active call (i.e., Customer Name, Account Number, Malicious Call, etc.) Call Notes are now part of the Call Tagging process. To add a note or any other tag to a call, click the Tag icon and then select the appropriate tag. LDAP Filtering The LDAP filter builder is a graphical tool to create a new or modify an existing LDAP filter by adding / deleting / modifying one or more conditions and sub-filters. A condition has the following format: <condition>=(<attribute><operator><value>) where <attribute> is a valid LDAP attribute, e.g., (givenname=bob) Used to control which users, groups and security groups are added to SmartTAP. Lync Client Window Extension Toolbar The Lync client conversation window can be extended to perform simple tasks like Record or Save on Demand or Tag a call. Single Sign On Single Sign On (SSO) simplifies the login process for domain users. A user logs into their machine using domain credentials. The user then attempts to access the SmartTAP web server or Lync client toolbar. With SSO enabled, the user is authenticated in the background through Active Directory using the same domain credentials that were used to log into the machine. This bypasses the login page and brings the user to their Welcome page. REST API Enhancement Add and manage Call Tags Record or Save on Demand HTTP Server Sent Events to monitor call state of targeted users/devices Sample programs and C# Wrapper library 5.4 Version 2.5.0 New Features This section shows the new features available in version 2.5.0. Digital Signature A digital signature was added to a recorded call when a file is downloaded from SmartTAP to prove it was not altered in any way since it was downloaded. ShoreTel Extension Free Seating Also known as 'Free Seating', 'Hot Desking' or 'Hoteling', this is a popular feature on many PBX platforms. Allows a specific user to be easily targeted by Extension and their calls to be recorded regardless of which ShoreTel phone they use. Release Notes 16 Document #: LTRT-27140

Release Notes 6. Historically Resolved Issues 6 Historically Resolved Issues The table below lists the historically resolved issues. Release Version Issue ID Severity Description 3.0.1 CU2 6902 High 3.0.1 CU2 6904 High 3.0.1 CU2 6905 Med 3.0.1 CU2 6933 High 3.0.1 CU1 6848 High 3.0.1 CU1 6843 High 3.0.1 CU1 6841 Med 3.0.1 CU1 6780 High 3.0.1 CU1 6827 High 3.0.1 CU1 6826 High 3.0.1 CU1 6829 Med 3.0.1 CU1 6809 Med 3.0.1 CU1 6833 High 3.0.1 GA 6707 Critical 3.0.1 GA 6640 High 3.0.1 GA 6718 Med 3.0.1 GA 6764 High 3.0.1 GA 6732 High Security updates for JBoss in the Communication Server. For some calls with early media, decryption errors result in a bad recording. Incorrect configuration data can cause a crash in CD- IP when using Media Proxy. Inter-pool calls fail to record when Lync optimizes the SIP message path to skip over the Lync Front End that the user is homed to. Calls may get stuck in the recording state if they last longer than two hours. Connection alarms between Call Delivery and Media Proxy, due to spurious connection resets. Connection alarms between Call Delivery and Application Server, due to premature timeouts. Added support for Skype for Business to Announcement Server. Username not being parsed correctly for SIPRec is causing a malfunction. CD-SIPRec can malfunction if it does not receive a SIP Ack request from the gateway after the 200 OK response to the initial Invite. Call recording may hang for 24 hours if transferred to voice mail before hanging up. The e-mail notification recipients list shows LDAP recipients in non-recipients list. After upgrading CD-IP from a version earlier than 3.0 and adding Media Proxy, CD-IP cannot collect media from calls traversing the Media Proxy. Search while selecting a non-targeted user showed records for other targeted users. Calls were not recorded in Cisco Target by Extension mode (the mode supports only basic call scenario recordings). No media is recorded for a Media Proxy call when configured to record Lync and another IP integration. For SmartTAP systems with Media Proxy enabled, video calls in a Skype-for-Business platform will fail to connect when using an AudioCodes IP phone. Call Tagging in SmartTAP 3.0 on a Lync Client Window Extension was not functioning correctly. Version 3.1 17 SmartTAP

SmartTAP Release Version Issue ID Severity Description 3.0.1 GA 6750 High 3.0.1 GA 6766 Critical 3.0.1 GA 6702 High 3.0.0 GA 6583 Med 3.0.0 GA 6437 Med Calls to a federated conference server fail when recording using Media Proxy. Incoming PSTN calls are not recorded when using Media Proxy solution in a Skype-for-Business environment. CD-IP failed to record SIP calls in a Lync + SIP (Target by IP) CD-IP configuration. Installer now automatically removes old tools from a previous version. Delete users will no longer show up in a group unless you click the checkbox to show deleted users. 3.0.0 GA 6436 Med Status page now only displays recorded users. 3.0.0 GA 6427 High 3.0.0 GA 6404 Med 3.0.0 GA 6390 High 3.0.0 GA 5455 Med 2.7.1 CU 15 6954 Med 2.7.1 CU 15 6955 Med 2.7.1 CU 15 6961 Med 2.7.1 CU 14 6952 High SmartTAP installer will no longer overwrite CD-IP state machine files. Group management and changes now tracked in Audit Trail. Fixed PowerShell script used during installation of firewall rules to prevent leaving unrestricted access after the script is complete. Resolved issue where sort order was affected if a target was removed. Performance improvements in the Application Server when searching for calls. The Trigger Time field was not being set for Recordon-Demand and Save-on-Demand recordings. Removed deprecated version of user status page: /monitor/user_status.jsf Team calls that have been forwarded from two nontargeted users and then subsequently abandoned may cause subsequent calls to record silence for users targeted in the original team call. 2.7.1 CU 13 6900 High Security updates for JBoss. 2.7.1 CU 13 6888 Med 2.7.1 CU 13 6889 Med 2.7.1 CU 13 6890 Med 2.7.1 CU 13 6907 High 2.7.1 CU 12 6887 High Call Search generates an error message if the redirected call ID is the same as the current call ID. For Avaya AES systems, the wrong call ID was being set for redirected messages. For Avaya AES systems, the User Status page still shows the call for the previous user after the call is transferred to another user. Trying to record with Record-On-Demand after a call is transferred does not function. One side of Lync recording has silence in the beginning of the recording due to decryption errors during early media. Release Notes 18 Document #: LTRT-27140

Resolved issue where encryption may fail, resulting in corrupted media. Resolved the issue of Jitter Buffer corruption under heavy call volume. Resolved issue where Skype for Business / Lync calls for targeted users, sent to voicemail, were rejected during media negotiation. Call Delivery fails to find provisioning for incoming PSTN calls with the Cisco Skinny protocol. Call Records for Polycom phone on external network contain no audio. One side of Skype for Business / Lync recording has bad audio due to receiving SDP after the call was answered, related to when more than one end point receives the same call. Previously, when clicking live monitoring, there was no buffering or playing. It remained in READY state. The SmartTAP Call Delivery service consumes additional recording licenses when configured to record Avaya and Lync concurrently. Fixed recording issue between two internal Skype for business clients that were upgraded from Lync 2013 clients. Fix to Media Server for RED packet containing CN or DTMF. Previously, with Polycom phones, 3-4 seconds of the beginning of the call were missed. Parsing issue with SIP URI. Corrected issue involving upper case SIP URI. Introduced in SmartTAP 2.7, resolved issue with SmartTAP Media Server not releasing resources. Introduced in SmartTAP 2.7, corrected issue where SmartTAP was falsely consuming licenses and incorrectly reporting Quota Exceeded. Introduced in SmartTAP 2.7, corrected issue where SmartTAP was falsely consuming licenses in a Microsoft Lync environment. Resolved issue with incorrect license consumption with Microsoft Lync Team / RGS calls. Fixed issue with SmartWORKS service that prevented a user s calls from returning Appear as stuck call in GUI. Version 3.1 19 SmartTAP

SmartTAP Release Version Issue ID Severity Description 2.7.1 CU 1 6352 Med Resolved issue with SmartWORKS crashing the service due to incorrect cleanup of session resources when returning to idle recording state. 2.7.1 GA 6310, 6295 Critical Resolved issues with out-of-sync audio on playback. 2.7.1 GA 6291, 6240 Critical Fixed user validation failure on timeout (20 minutes) when the same user opens multiple sessions to SmartTAP and logs out of one. 2.7.1 GA 6292 Critical 2.7.1 GA 6294 High 2.7.1 GA 6297 High 2.7.1 GA 6299 High 2.7.1 GA 6306 Med 2.7.1 GA 6308 Critical 2.7.1 GA 6314 Med 2.7.0 CU 3 6308 Critical 2.7.0 CU 2 6304 High When trying to play recordings, the Media Player issues an IOException error message. This happens when some of the media files that make up the call are missing. The problem was caused by very short SIP Dialogs associated with the call. Fixed a failure with the Communcation Server upgrade in the case when the media path contained a comma. Fixed an issue with LDAP users still shown as Non Members of a group after being added to the group. Fixed an issue that was preventing the session timeout dialog box from appearing after the timeout period expired in the User Status (target_status.jsf) page. Fixed an issue with recording Lync calls traversing AudioCodes' SPS (SIP Phone Support). Fixed a Concurrent Modification Exception when multiple users access SmartTAP. Dialog windows on the web interface can no longer be moved behind the address bar, where they can get stuck.
