Once you select the AeroSphère speaker with the AirPlay icon in itunes or the ios device, the AeroSphère speakers switch automatically from the current audio source to AirPlay. With Airplay and you can play the same itunes selection (or internet radio/music App like Deezer, Spotify etc ) from a PC to multiple AirPlay speakers within network range, the number of speakers being determined by the bandwidth of the router. You can play different selections from your iphone (or Internet radio/music Apps like Deezer, Spotify etc ) locally to an AeroSphère speaker through AirPlay. Using the native software in ios devices you can only connect to a single Airplay speaker at a time, but there are plenty of 3rd party aps that allow you to connect to multiple devices simultaneously. Playing music with spotify, wimp, deezer etc from an iphone through AirPlay Any music iphone app works with AirPlay. Any audio streaming app such as Spotify, Wimp or Deezer can stream audio to the AeroSphère speaker via AirPlay. AirPlay also supports any Internet Radio app on the iphone, ipod touch and ipad. Use itunes on mac or windows Once the AeroSphère speaker has successfully connected to the Wi-Fi network, click the AirPlay icon in itunes and select an AeroSphère speaker from the dropdown menu. Playing on Android (DLNA) The AeroSphère speakers work with apps that have DLNA support. Once a user selects the AeroSphère speaker in a DLNA app on a smartphone, the AeroSphère speakers will switch automatically from the current audio source to DLNA. DLNA works in a similar way to AirPlay but the main difference is that DLNA must be supported by the music app itself, because the Android OS does not have an DLNA output function similar to the AirPlay button on the iphone control panel.
