1 How can I use the search to find an article? There are several options to search the Spare parts catalogue which will be explained in the following. Y o u m a y a c c e s s 1 2 3 4 t h e (1) Navigation You may access the search by selecting the icon from the navigation. This will require you to select a search level from the navigation. (2) Menu You may access the search by selecting Search from the menu. (3) Quick Search You may search for a certain part directly by using the quick search. (4) Search options Once you have selected either Search from the menu or the icon from the menu the search options will be displayed in the center section. You may switch between quick and enhanced search. A few search examples demonstrate you how to use the search efficiently. SPC_FAQ_EN.doc Page 3 of 11
2 How can I change the language settings? You may change the language of the Spare Parts Catalogue, by choosing Language Selection from the upper-right corner of the Spare Parts Catalogue. Select the desired language options and confirm your selection with Catalogue will reload with your selection. This may take a few seconds.. The Spare Parts SPC_FAQ_EN.doc Page 4 of 11
3 How can I create templates for my orders? You may save your current shopping cart on your local PC by selecting the icon: A saved shopping cart may be imported again by selecting the icon. Once you have selected the file you want to import you may confirm your selection with Ok. This feature can be used to create shopping cart templates for your orders. SPC_FAQ_EN.doc Page 5 of 11
4 How can I edit and save addresses (e.g. shipping address)? You may save the entered address information by selecting the Set as default -button. This will save the information you have provided as cookie on your local PC and use it for each new order. If you want to edit the information you may simply overwrite them by selecting Set as default again. SPC_FAQ_EN.doc Page 6 of 11
Another way to save multiple addresses is to select the PC. icon and save them on your local Saved addresses may be imported again by selecting the icon. This procedure may be applied to shipping and billing address. SPC_FAQ_EN.doc Page 7 of 11
5 How can I limit the navigation to a certain product or product group? By selecting the icon you may limit the search to a certain product or product group. First select the icon and afterwards choose the desired navigation-layer from the navigationtree. The search with the selected search level will open in the center section. 6 How can I place item numbers directly into my shopping cart? By selecting the icon in the detail section (on the right side) you may access the option to place item numbers directly into your shopping cart. First you may enter the desired item number before selecting the icon. Afterwards you may place the desired article into your shopping cart by selecting the icon. SPC_FAQ_EN.doc Page 9 of 11
