Smarter Local Area Marketing User Guide for the Branch Network

Smarter Local Area Marketing WELCOME TO SLAM SLAM is BOQ s new Smarter Local Area Marketing portal, a powerful marketing resource to help you make a real impact in your local area. SLAM NAVIGATION SLAM has clear design and easy navigation, with functionality that allows you to create and update your own marketing material and get your product or service offering in front of customers faster. Login All Owner Managers and Branch Managers have been sent an email with their login details. Please visit https://slam.eezeeorder.com.au/ and enter your email address and password to get started. If you do not have a login, please send a request to marketingteam@boq.com.au Home You re in! Select which item is required from the menu listed on the left hand navigation bar. Latest Campaigns This page neatly displays all branch marketing material for the latest campaigns in market. 1

SLAM NAVIGATION CONTINUED Marketing Templates All templates are categorised under brand/service or a specific product area so you can quickly access material to suit your sales focus. For example, a branch who wants to increase lending sales can click on the Lending icon and have all lending flyers, surveys, calculators and tools at their fingertips. Merchandise You can order merchandise for an upcoming event on the BOQ Merchandise Portal. The Merchandise Portal sells a range of branded goodies, including promotional items, executive gifts, stationary and apparel. Please remember all corporate branch orders must be approved by Regional/State Managers. Event Signage The BOQ Event Signage Portal is available to hire signage and bring your event to life. The portal houses a range of banners, pop-up stands, novelty cheques and marquees. Please remember to book in advance as our signage is stored and managed externally with E-bis (Tuggerah, NSW). Leads & Pipeline The BOQ Leads & Pipeline Tracker is an important tool to create and manage leads effectively. The system offers the ability to manage sales opportunities and referrals and to distribute, track and manage leads from the beginning to the end. Make sure you are prepared with material to capture leads at an event. Check out the many surveys available for lead capture on SLAM. 2

CREATING AND UPDATING MATERIAL SLAM gives you the ability to update and personalise marketing material templates. There is a range of material currently available depending on product category. Examples include: Various flyers TVCs to view and share Radio scripts to download There will be additional material added including press ads, business cards and example competition artwork. Plus, we are still building up our Marketing Toolbox, so we ll continuously be uploading new and exciting artwork for you to use. FLYER PERSONALISATION SLAM has a range of Call to Action (CTA) options, allowing you to add additional staff members, change contact details, select various formats and more. Example instructions for a branch wanting to personalise a flyer for a coffee shout are below. Step 1: Click on Marketing Templates on the left hand navigation bar. Select the appropriate product/service category. An activation such as a coffee shout would be housed under Service Proposition & Brand. Step 2: Select the appropriate material i.e. Enjoy a Coffee on us flyer, and click Place an order. Step 3: Customise your flyer and CTA. Select your branch name Select With Photos or Without Photos and the number of contacts. TIP: T he photo icon next to each profile card indicates whether there is a photo available or not. If there is a photo available the icon will be green, if we don t have a photo it will be red. Want to upload a photo or change your photo, great! Just send the photo in the style shown in the OM/BM photography guidelines (Marketing mysource page > Branded templates) to marketingteam@boq.com.au and we will upload your photo to the database so that it is available for all future orders. You have the option to include up to three staff contacts. TIP: A great feature of SLAM is the ability to add and remove a number of profile contacts. For example, you can add a new profile card for your Lending Specialist, just click Add new contact and type in the details as required including name, title, email address and mobile number. Once a new profile card is added, it will save and be there for you next time you need to submit an order. Y ou can then enter other details to your preference. There are so many options to choose from! 3

FLYER PERSONALISATION CONTINUED Select your preferred flyer size TIP: A5 2up just means there s two flyers to an A4 page. It s a great format to use when you need to print A5 flyers in branch as it s more cost effective. Select the option and click the Refresh Preview, and you ll see what we mean. C lick Refresh Preview on the right hand side to view your edits I f you are happy to proceed, click Next Step 4: Downloading artwork files If you would like to download a PDF file please select the Download Only option and follow the prompts.

SUBMITTING PRINT REQUESTS If you would like to request a print order please select BOQ External Printer. SLAM automatically calculates and displays the cost of print orders based on an agreed print rate with BOQ s External Printer. There is a separate print process for Corporate branches and OMB s. TIP: B e sure to download the proof of your artwork and check it carefully for errors before you send it to print.

CORPORATE BRANCH ORDERS All Corporate branch print orders are pending Regional/State Manager approval. Review the print details including quantity and price before clicking Add to Cart. If you are finished shopping, please select Checkout. Once you have confirmed your Shipping Address, click Next and the final order will be displayed. Please use the Comments section to add details on what the material will be used for. This information will be sent to your RM to speed up the approval process. Click Check out and your request will automatically be emailed to your Regional/ State Manager. You can check the status of an order in the My Account > Order History menu tab. You will receive a notification email once an order has been actioned.

OWNER-MANAGER BRANCH ORDERS OMB s are required to cover the cost of all print orders. The Marketing team will on-charge print costs to OMB s monthly using their cost centre. Review the print details and price before clicking Add to Cart. If you are finished shopping, please select Checkout. Once you have confirmed your Shipping Address click Next and the final order will be displayed. Click Check out and your request will be processed. An email will automatically be sent to BOQ s External Printer for them to commence production of your order. An order confirmation will also be sent to your email address.
