2 2 What's new The current release of the product includes these enhancements and changes. Support for SSL This release supports connecting to the database using SSL. Content Security Reporter also supports TLS versions 1.1 and 1.2. Support for FTPS and SFTP Content Security Reporter now supports FTPS and SFTP for a secured server connection. 3 Resolved issues The current release of the product resolves these issues. For a list of issues fixed in earlier releases, see the Release Notes of the specific release. Reference Issue description 1231744 In Content Security Reporter, if the post-processing is configured incorrectly, the post processing fails, but the log files are successfully parsed to the server. The Job Queue Status no longer shows the status as Failed even if the post-processing fails. 1230242 When accessing Content Security Reporter during the directory upgrade, the Report Server Settings screen no longer becomes unresponsive. 1215350 Content Security Reporter can now look up groups, even if the user name associated with the group in Active Directory has a ",". 1225630 When importing logs from McAfee Web Gateway Cloud Service (McAfee WGCS), the user name column details are now populated. 1230563 When you edit a database configuration that was saved without an instance name, the Edit Database page now displays the Instance name (if any): field. 1232348 Content Security Reporter no longer displays an error when changing permissions sets. 1207592 In Content Security Reporter, database maintenance process no longer fails due to deadlock. Microsoft SQL Server 2008 MySQL 5.5 Microsoft SQL Server 2012 MySQL 5.6 Microsoft SQL Server 2014 MySQL 5.7 Microsoft SQL Server 2016 Content Security Reporter 2.5.0 does not support Microsoft SQL Server 2005. Before upgrading to Content Security Reporter 2.5.0, you must upgrade your Microsoft SQL Server to one of the supported versions. McAfee epo 5.1.3, 5.3.1, 5.3.2 or later McAfee epo 5.9.x We don't guarantee that Content Security Reporter works with other versions of McAfee epo. Access your product downloads Access your Content Security Reporter files from the McAfee product downloads page. Task 1 Go to the McAfee Product Downloads page. 2 Click Download. 3 Enter your grant number, enter the letters displayed, then click Submit. 4 On the license agreement page, select I Agree. 5 On the Software Downloads page, select the software you want to download. Installation information Upgrade the product 4 Upgrade the product Complete the Content Security Reporter upgrade, manually or automatically. Tasks Prepare for your upgrade on page 13 Before you upgrade Content Security Reporter, prepare your environment. Upgrade the software (Automatically) on page 14 Complete an automatic upgrade of the Content Security Reporter software. Upgrade the software manually on page 14 If the automatic software upgrade fails, complete a manual software upgrade. Prepare for your upgrade Before you upgrade Content Security Reporter, prepare your environment. Before you begin Close all files and folders that relate to Content Security Reporter. Task 1 Back up the current configuration settings, then save the backup.xml file on another computer. For more information on how to back up the configuration settings, see the McAfee Content Security Reporter Product Guide. Save the backup.xml file on a different computer than the one you are using to upgrade Content Security Reporter. 2 If you are using an internal database, cancel all processing database maintenance jobs. a Log on to the McAfee epo server as an administrator. b c d e f g Select Menu Configuration Report Server Settings. From the Settings Categories menu, select Database Maintenance Status. Select all database maintenance jobs in process, then select Actions Cancel. From the Settings Categories menu, select Database Edit. Select the Connection Mode as Offline. Shut down the internal database service. 3 If you are using an internal database, download the MariaDB internal database. a Verify that the available hard drive space is 1.5 times more than the reporting database. b Go to https://downloads.mariadb.org/, download MariaDB, then unzip the files to a temporary directory on the same computer where Content Security Reporter and its internal database reside. You can also download the MariaDB binaries with the Content Security Reporter software from the McAfee Product Downloads page. McAfee Content Security Reporter 2.5.0 Release Notes 13

4 Installation information Upgrade the product 4 If you are using an internal database, back up the existing internal database. a Verify that the McAfee Content Security Reporter Internal Database service is running. b From the command prompt, go to the bin directory in the MariaDB_Unzip folder, then execute the following command: mysqldump [-h localhost] -P 9129 -u dba --password=dba reporting > (Any_Directory_Path)/mysqldata.sql Depending on the size of the internal database, the MySQL dump can take a long time. If you manually upgrade Content Security Reporter, save the MySQL dump file on a different computer than the one you are using to upgrade Content Security Reporter. Upgrade the software (Automatically) Complete an automatic upgrade of the Content Security Reporter software. Task 1 Verify that the following services are running. McAfee Content Security Reporter Server McAfee Content Security Reporter Internal Database or McAfeeCSRDefaultDB 2 Run the executable file you downloaded, then follow the on-screen prompts. If you have more than 50 GB of data, use a supported external database. For more information, see the McAfee Content Security Reporter Product Guide. The amount of time it takes for the schema to update depends on the size of your database. For example, a database with 50 GB of data takes approximately 5 hours to update. Upgrade the software manually If the automatic software upgrade fails, complete a manual software upgrade. Task 1 Uninstall Content Security Reporter. 2 To reinstall Content Security Reporter, run the executable file you downloaded. 3 Verify that the following services are running. McAfee Content Security Reporter McAfeeCSRDefaultDB 4 If you are using an internal database, restore the MySQL internal database data. a Go to the [INTALLDIR]\reporter\mariadb\bin directory. b Execute the following commands: mysql -P 9129 -u dba --password=dba drop database reporting; create database reporting; exit mysql -P 9129 -u dba --password=dba reporting < mysqldata.sql The size of the internal database determines how long the upgrade takes to complete. 14 McAfee Content Security Reporter 2.5.0 Release Notes

For more information, see the McAfee Content Security Reporter Product Guide. 5 Log on to McAfee epo as an administrator, select Report Server Settings Database, then click Update Schema. The amount of time it takes for the schema to update depends on the size of your database. For example, a database with 50 GB of data takes approximately 5 hours to update. 6 Restore the Content Security Reporter data and settings. For more information about how to restore Content Security Reporter data and settings, see the McAfee Content Security Reporter Product Guide. After creating permission sets, if the Content Security Reporter is removed and reinstalled, you must enable those permissions again. To do this, you must edit and save each permission set.
