Page TID BR Rev.0 UV SV8H Safety Relief Valve Description The SV8H have fied blowdown.no blowdown adjustment required when setting or testing the valve.it is designed for short blowdown on all medias. Available Types The body, bonnet, cap, nozzle, disc spring are available in a variety of materials selected to suit the chemical physical characteristics of the specified process fluid available. The SV8H has screwed connections (NPT) according to ASME B.0., can be supplied with open or packed lever, resilient seat (O Ring) test lever. The SV8H can also be supplied with flanged welded connections. Applications The safety relief valves SV8H are designed for the effective protection of overpressure in processes or equipment, including etreme service conditions such as high outflows, high pressures, high temperatures, corrosive media viscous liquid. Always consult Spira Sarco for fluid compatibility of the construction materials. Stards Approvals The SV8H are designed in accordance with ASME Boiler Vessel Code, Section VIII Division. Capacities are certified by the National Board of Boiler Vessel Inspectors. For compressible fluids liquids, the valve can be stamped with 'UV' 'NB' marks. Stard construction includes or 6 stainless steel body, trim carbon steel bonnet. When required, the valve can be supplied with materials in compliance with NACE MR07 stard for sour gas service. The SV8H complies with the seat tightness requirements of the API STD 7. Certification A certificate of conformity is supplied with each valve including valve set pressure hydrostatic test. Material certification is provided in accordance with BSEN 00 Type., for all primary pressure containing parts.
