HB PowerTeacher Gradebook Year-Long Classes 1. Login to NCEdCloud https://my.ncedcloud.org and select PowerTeacher 2. Select Gradebook 2 3. 7. The year-long reporting term view, in Grade Setup, should appear as the image below. If the folders do not appear in the same order as the screen shot below, please contact the data manager. 8. Open the F1 folder by double clicking the Folder or the gray circle with the white arrow. 9. Select Term Weights/Standards Weights 9 10 10. Click each cell in the Weight Column and enter the following: S1 40 S2 40 Total 100% X2 20 11 **Data cannot be entered into the Percent Column. It will adjust as the weight is entered. 11. Save

20. Open the Quarter 1 Folder Q1 Double click or click the white arrow 21. Select Category Weights 22. Click the plus sign to add Categories to the setup. 20 21 22 23. Check the Categories to be added to the class. All don t have to be selected and additional categories can be added by following Step 16 24. Click OK. 23 24
25. Optional: There is a default list of categories located on the left side of the screen. Additional categories can be added by selecting the plus sign and named individually. 25 Next Page
26. Click each Category cell in the Weight Column and enter a numerical weight. The column should total 100%. **Data cannot be entered into the Percent Column. It will adjust as the weight is entered.** The Weight and Percent Columns should be equal when data is complete. 27. Save 26 Totals 100% 27 28. The same setup needs to be completed for all classes. The copy feature can be used to copy the F1 and Q1 settings to all classes. Quarter settings can also be copied to other quarters within the same class. 28 Go to the next page if you would like to use the copy feature to complete the other classes.
Copying Gradebook Settings NOTE: Specific Quarters or Gradebook settings for an Entire semester or year (page 10) can be copied. Copying Grade Setup for Quarter Grades 1. Select a quarter with a complete grade setup. 2. Click Copy 1 2 3. Make sure the copied quarter is bubbled and click OK. 2
4. Check the quarter you are copying to and click next. 4 5. Click Finish 5 6. Verify to make sure the quarter has the correct setup. 6
Copying Grade Setup for an Entire Course 1. Locate a class with a complete correct grade setup, select that entire class. It can be from a previous semester. 2 2. Click Grade Setup 3. Select the F1 folder. 4. Click Copy 1 3 4 5. Make sure the Entire class is bubbled and click OK. 5
6. Check each Semester Class that you would like to copy the grade setup to. NOTE: If you select a different semester than the class that was copied, the quarters and exams will have to be matched. It will notify you by highlighting the mismatched semester in red and automatically open another window with dropdown arrows to allow matching of quarters and exams. *Click the dropdown arrows and match the quarters between the different semesters. *Click Confirm Quarter 1 matched with Quarter 3 Quarter 2 matched with Quarter 4 Exam 1 matched with Exam 2
7. Click Next 7 8. Confirm that the final grade setup is being copied, the original (source) class copied from and the classes which are receiving the copy. 9. Click Finish 8 View the current classes to make sure the copied gradebook settings are correct.
