The default view is List view where yu will see titles, wnership, and mdificatin dates f yur files. The Grid view ptin will display thumbnail images that can help yu see all f yur cntent withut having t click each file.
Hw t play a vide and find infrmatin abut the file Once yu have upladed yur vide t Ggle Drive, yu can watch it with the Ggle Drive vide player. Simply click the file frm yur Dcuments List, and click the Preview icn. The vide pens in the preview windw that includes a vide player. If yu click the grey icn, it will pen the vide details page, and yu can view inf abut the vide, edit the vide descriptin, edit the sharing permissins, and pt t prevent dwnlads f the file. Narrw the search using filters alng the left-hand navigatin: Narrw by type, Narrw by categry, r Narrw by language, t filter the list f templates. There is als a Students & Teachers categry that will display templates fr use at schl. Submit yur wn templates T create yur wn template, yu will need t create and edit a Ggle Dc. The Submit a template prcess is very simple. 1. Chse yur Ggle Dc frm Drive. 2. Enter a descriptin f what the template is and hw t use it. 3. Select ne r tw categries fr the template. 4. Select a language. 5. Submit template. Nte: Once yu submit a Ggle Dc as a template, it will be visible t everyne in yur schl r district. If yu mdify the template, thse changes will appear t peple wh preview r use yur template. Nte: Yu will nt be able t view Ggle Dcs created using yur template (unless they are explicitly shared with yu). Share assignment A teacher can create and edit assignments in a Ggle Dc and share it with the class. Cmplete assignment Students can read the assignment nline and start their wrk in a Ggle Dc. If the teacher prvides a template, they can cpy the template and begin adding their wrk in the new Ggle Dc. Submit assignment When students are ready t submit the assignment, they can share the Ggle Dc with the teacher. Fr rganizatinal purpses, the teacher can require a standard dcument naming frmat (i.e. LastnameFirstname_perid_assignmentnumber). Alternatively, students can drag the file int a shared Cmpleted Assignments flder shared with the teacher. Grade assignments The teacher can grade Ggle Dcs as they are shared by the students, prviding cmments directly int the Ggle Dc. The teacher knws a file is ready t be graded nly when the Ggle Dc is shared with the prper name frmat, r when it is drpped int the student s Cmpleted Assignments flder. The teacher can als give students a deadline and then grade what is available in the flder at that time, whether the wrk is cmpleted r nt. Therefre, wrk can be turned in as sn as it is started, allwing the teacher t view the time spent n assignments, the editing accmplished and the last time the student wrked n the assignment. Publishing Flders t Make Files Viewable n the Web Ggle Drive allws yu t publish flders n the web.
