Please follow the steps outlined below to complete your tender submission. 1) From the FS Website (www.fsinvestments.com), select your role. If this does not appear please continue to the next step. 2) Click tender login located on the top, right-hand corner. 1

3) Locate your unique tender control number from the notice you received via mail or email. If you cannot locate your control number, please contact us at 877-628-8575 for assistance. Click Log In 4) To log in, enter your tender control number as the user name and the PIN (last four digits of the primary account owner's social security number or tax ID) as the password. 5) A dialogue box will pop up upon logging in. Click OK to proceed with the tender process, or click I don t want to proceed, if you do not wish to tender any shares. 6) The tender document will now appear and allow you to click through the document by utilizing the Next button, as well as complete requested information. Please note, the first few pages are informational only. Below is the first page you will see, which requests shareholder information. Some information may be prepopulated for you. As you advance, you will see there are 4 sections to complete, which are labeled A through D. Read and complete the entirety of the page, clicking Next once you are finished. 7) See example of section C below. Please be sure to select the appropriate choice for your account. 3

8) See example of section D below. Once section D is complete, there will be several additional information pages to advance through. When you are finished with the document, the Next button will no longer be available to select. Once this occurs, please select "Submit" to access the document and see which options you have for printing and/or signing the document. John Doe Once you click on "submit" a dialogue box will appear. Depending on the type of account you have, you will see one of two options. If "Print, Sign, and Mail" appears, please continue to step 9. If "E-Signature via Docusign" appears, please skip step 9 and continue to step 10. 4

9) If "Print, Sign, and Mail" appears, please download the PDF. Then you must print, sign, and mail the document to your custodian (if applicable) or Broadridge in order to complete the submission process. 10) If "E-Signature via Docusign" appears, enter an email address for each signer and click "OK" when finished. Note: A second shareholder line will only appear if a second shareholder is required to sign. John Doe 5

11) A dialogue box will appear letting you know the document has been sent to your email address for electronic signature. 12) You will receive an email which looks similar to the following. Click Review Document. 6

13) The link will open in your browser and you will be prompted with the dialogue box below. Enter the PIN (last four digits of the primary account owner's social security number or tax ID) and click the orange button labeled Validate. 14) You will be taken to a DocuSign page. Check the box to agree to Docusign's "Electronic Record and Signature Disclosure" and click Continue to continue. 7

15) Click the Start button to begin. John Doe Street City State ZIP 16) Once you click Start, the page will automatically scroll to where you need to sign. Click the Sign button. 8

17) Once you click Sign, the below dialogue box will appear. Make sure your full name and initials are correct. You have the option to change the style of signature if you wish. Once you have chosen a style, or decide to not choose a new style, click the Adopt and sign button. John Doe JD 18) Click Finish to finish signing. 19) Click Continue to complete the process. 9

20) Once all parties have signed the document, you will receive an email verifying a successful completion. If your account has a custodian or brokerage-firm associated with it, you will receive this confirmation email after the other party has also signed the document. You may click View signed document to view the final document. You will also be given the opportunity to save or print the signed document for your records. 10
