Install and solder LED 1. Testing 1. Connect a jumper between collecter and emitter of Q 1 using piece of resistor lead 2. Connect 9 volt battery to battery clip. 3. Slide switch SW 1 to position. 4. Describe what occurs below. 3/16 Leg Warmers Cathode Procedure 1. Connect battery to battery connector. 2. Slide switch SW 1 to on. 3. Touch the pad and GND (center pad) to set the Flip-Flop. LED 1 should light and the relay will energize. 4. Touch the pad and GND pad to reset the Flip-Flop. LED1 should turn off and the relay de-energize. TIP: Connect a ohmmeter to the relay terminal to monitor on-off condition. 5. If LED1 turns on and off and the relay energizes and de-energizes, congratulations for successfully completing the Touch Control Switch. 5. Remove jumper. See your instructor if the circuit does not work as indicated. 2 7
