Upgrading the Definitive Healthcare Application for Salesforce.com (Classic) The purpose of this document is to serve as an upgrade and configuration guideline for the Definitive Healthcare Salesforce.com integration application. This application allows you to seamlessly import information on healthcare providers and executives from the Definitive Healthcare databases into Salesforce.com through a web-based API. This application will also keep imported information up to date through the optional synchronization feature. This process should take no more than a half an hour. If you have any questions during installation, please call the Definitive Healthcare support team at 888-307-4107, or email support@definitivehc.com Major changes accommodated in this version of the Definitive Healthcare Salesforce Application include: RFP Integration: Ability to integrate DHC tracked RFPs as an Opportunity within Salesforce DHC Hierarchy Manager: Functionality that helps to manage the ever changing IDN landscape in the healthcare industry DHC Contact Manager: An improved view and function for integrating DHC contact data into Salesforce Note: Salesforce.com s AppExchange marketplace is not compatible with Internet Explorer 11 at this time. Part I. Upgrade the Package 1. Go to https://appexchange.salesforce.com OR click AppExchange under the drop down on the top right hand side of your screen on salesforce.com. Search for Definitive Healthcare. 2. Click on the application and click the green Get It Now button. 2017 Definitive Healthcare Page 2 of 14

3. Select Install in Production. 4. Agree to the terms and conditions after review and click the blue Confirm and Install button. 2017 Definitive Healthcare Page 3 of 14

5. Select Install for All Users and click Upgrade. 6. You will see the below photo and receve a confirmation email once the upgrade is completed. Please note that this may take several minutes. 7. Click Done to complete the upgrade process Part II. Configure the Definitive Healthcare Application 1. At the top of the page, click Setup. On the left hand side of the page, select Installed Packages under Build. 2017 Definitive Healthcare Page 4 of 14

2. Scroll down to the DefHC package and click Configure. The following page will load: 1. Populate the API Endpoint field with https://api.defhc.com/v5 2. Populate the API Key field with the key provided by your Customer Success Manager. 3. Populate Notification Emails with the email you would like synchronization updates to be sent. Note: If left blank, it will default to whoever installed the package. 4. Click Import Ref Lists to populate preset values for the Filters available within the DHC Data tab (i.e. Facility Types, Standardized Titles, etc.) 5. [For Salesforce Admins only] Click Open Field Mapping Manager to manage custom field mappings. Part III. Set-Up Synchronization and Additional Configuration Synchronize the Database and Schedule Synchronization The Definitive Healthcare Salesforce application allows for one-time or scheduled synchronization of Definitive Healthcare data, for all fields mapped through the application. Please note that the synchronization process will only update attached records, or those records that have valid Definitive ID and/or DHC Executive ID. To get to the Synchronization Menu Options, go to SetupInstalled Packages and click Configure to the left of the DefHC Package. On this page, you have a few synchronize options available. Synchronization Settings (i.e. what to sync?) In the Synchronization Settings section, there are three objects that the application will sync. 1. Account 2. Contact 3. Leads A separate synchronization occurs within each object, which can have different frequencies of: Daily (upon discussion with your team from Definitive Healthcare) Weekly Monthly 2017 Definitive Healthcare Page 5 of 14

To conduct a one-time synchronization select Synchronize Now: Once you have selected your option, click Save Settings before continuing. Synchronize Accounts The Definitive Healthcare Salesforce Application will only synchronize Accounts where the Definitive ID field (from the managed package) has been populated. The population of this field is a requirement for the account record to be updated with data from Definitive Healthcare. This will allow all fields that are downloaded with the package, as well as any field that has been custom mapped through the application, to synchronize with the respective field in the Definitive Healthcare database. Synchronize Contacts The Definitive Healthcare Salesforce Application will only synchronize Contacts where the DHC Executive ID field (from the managed package) has been populated. The population of this field is a requirement for the contact record to be updated with data from Definitive Healthcare. If only this field is populated, then fields managed by the package will synchronize (i.e. DHC LinkedIn Profile, DHC is Active). However, if the DHC Executive ID field is populated and the Lead Source is DefinitiveHC, then existing standard contact fields will be overwritten (even if a change has been made since initial import). These fields are: First Name Last Name Title Phone Email This will have no impact on any of the call logs or other information related to contact records. Important: If you do not want your data to be overwritten for any given contact record then you must manually select a different Lead Source on the contact record and make sure to press Save. Synchronize Leads The Definitive Healthcare Salesforce Application will only synchronize Leads where the DHC Executive ID field (from the managed package) has been populated. The population of this field is a requirement for the lead record to be updated with data from Definitive Healthcare. If only this field is populated, then only the fields managed by the package will synchronize (i.e. DHC is Active). However, if the DHC Executive ID is populated and the Lead Source is DefinitiveHC, then existing standard lead fields will be overwritten (even if a change has been made since initial import). Email This will have no impact on any of the call logs or other information related to lead records. Important: If you do not want your data to be overwritten for any given lead record then you must manually select a different Lead Source on the contact record and make sure to press Save. Part IV. Customize Account Layout: Add DHC Contact Manager 1. Add a custom button from Definitive Healthcare. a. At the top of the page, click Setup and navigate to Build, select CustomizeAccountsPage Layouts. b. Click Edit next to Account Layout. 2017 Definitive Healthcare Page 7 of 14

c. Select Buttons and drag DHC Contact Manager to the Custom Buttons Section (highlighted in green) and click Save in the top left. Part V. Customize Account Search Layout: Add Manage DHC Hierarchy 1. Add a custom button from Definitive Healthcare. a. At the top of the page, click Setup and navigate to Build, select CustomizeAccountsSearch Layouts. b. Click Edit next to Account List View. 2017 Definitive Healthcare Page 8 of 14

c. Under Custom Buttons select Manage DHC Hierarchy, click Add and Save Note: The DHC Hierarchy Manager helps you navigate the ever-changing landscape of IDN marketplace, where the DHC Salesforce App suggests Parent Accounts based on DHC s knowledge of relationships between different providers. It is intended to be utilized by Salesforce Administrators. 2017 Definitive Healthcare Page 9 of 14

Part VI. Customize Lead Layout: Add Import DHC Data 1. Add a custom button from Definitive Healthcare. a. At the top of the page, click Setup and navigate to Build, select CustomizeLeadsPage Layouts. b. Click Edit next to Lead Layout. c. Select Buttons and drag Import DHC Data to the Custom Buttons Section (highlighted in green) and click Save in the top left. 2017 Definitive Healthcare Page 10 of 14

Part VII. Customize Opportunity Layout 1. Add custom fields from Definitive Healthcare a. At the top of the page, click Setup. Then on the left hand side of the page under Build select Customize Opportunities Page Layouts. b. Click Edit next to Opportunity Layout. c. From the Fields section, drag a new Section into the layout. Set the layout to 2-column and Left- Right and change the Section Name to Definitive Healthcare. Press Ok once the Definitive Healthcare section of the page has been customized. 2017 Definitive Healthcare Page 11 of 14

2. From the fields section, drag Definitive ID and RFP ID and place them in the newly created section. 3. Select both fields that were added and click the Properties icon: 4. Select Read-Only for all fields and click Ok. 5. Click Save. 2017 Definitive Healthcare Page 12 of 14

Part VIII. Customize Your Salesforce Tabs to include DHC Data 1. Click on the + sign on the top toolbar to add and customize your view by selecting Customize My Tabs. 2. Select DHC Data from the Available Tabs menu and click the add button. Use the up/down buttons to shift where to place the newly added tab. Press Save before navigating away from the page. The addition of this table will allow the user to access the Request for Proposal and Executive Lead search functions. These functions will allow the user to import RFPs as an Opportunity or an executive as a Lead. 2017 Definitive Healthcare Page 13 of 14

Part IX. (Optional) Set-Up Custom Field Mapping There is an option to create additional fields that can be manually mapped to the Definitive Healthcare API. These fields will be updated as part of the scheduled synchronization and can be mapped across the following Standard Objects: Account Contact Lead Opportunity To access and create these mappings, go to SetupDevelopCustom SettingsDHC Field Mappings. For instructions on creating custom mappings, please contact your Customer Success Manager. 2017 Definitive Healthcare Page 14 of 14
