Medline and PsycINFO in : Fields and Functionality This briefing document provides details of the fields and limits available to search in for the Medline and PycINFO databases from 13 th May 2015. Please note: the lists below show the field code, the title of the field and the corresponding field on the ProQuest native interface. For example "ti Title (TI)" means that "ti" is the code, "Title" is the name shown in and "(TI)" is the code you would use to search titles on the ProQuest native interface; the field Abstract included has been delivered as a limit in both databases within instead of a searchable field (as on ProQuest native interface), because it only has one option to search on and therefore makes more sense being implemented in this way; if the limit in ProQuest has a different name/function to the corresponding one in, the ProQuest field name in the right-hand column is given; otherwise there is an indication that the ProQuest field is available as a limit as well without specifying the full name.
