1. Log in to Parchment.com or if you have not registered yet, click the green SIGN UP NOW button and follow the instructions to register. 2. Add/Select Your School: a. Add your school's information and click Search. b. To select the school you attended, click Add. **Take care to add the correct AIU campus you attended. For example, AIU Online campus students must select the Online campus in Schaumburg, IL. AIU-Los Angeles campus students must select Los Angeles, CA. See screenshot below for all AIU campuses. 1

-If your school does not appear or you see Transcripts Unavailable, contact your school directly to request your transcript. To add another school, click Add Another Institution. Enter the school information and click Search. 3. Enter Enrollment Information: a. Complete fields then click CONSENT AND REQUEST. i. If your name is now different from when you attended you must select the box, My name on my transcript is different to prevent processing delays. If the order information does not match the records from the school, the transcript may not be matched efficiently. 2

4. Student Address: a. Enter your address and phone number. Click Save & Continue. 5. Provide Consent: a. Use your mouse or stylus to sign your name in the box. b. Type your name into the box and check the box to confirm that you are authorized to order the transcript. c. Click Save & Continue. 3

Select A Destination You may choose to have your transcript sent to Academic Institutions, Other Organization/Other Individual or Yourself by clicking on the corresponding buttons to begin. Important notes regarding selecting your destination: -Some schools have a preferred delivery method saved into our system, so you may not be presented with a choice of delivery methods. For example, some schools may only want to receive electronic transcripts. 4

-Do not edit an address unless you are positive that the changes you are making are correct. You cannot change an address after you place an order. You will have to resubmit your order. -Use Other Organization or Other Individual to send transcripts to employers, military addresses, or specific individuals/departments at a college. -You cannot send other admissions documents with your transcript through Parchment. You should speak to your school if you need to submit other documents. They may be able to upload and send these other documents when they send your transcript. Sending to Academic Destinations (including NCAA and Common App) 1. Click Academic Institution and enter the name of the institution. 2. Click Search. 3. Select the institution. Note: This is where you select the location that you want the transcripts to be sent to. Do not select the campus that you attended and are requesting your transcript from. If the issuing school is selected as the recipient we will not be able to change your request. You will need to place a new order to select a different recipient. 4. Confirm your destination(s) and delivery details. -Next to Processing Time, you have the option to select Send Now or Hold for Grades. Select Hold for Grades if you want to wait until your next semester grades are in before your transcript is delivered. -If your transcript will be delivered by mail, you can select Overnight Delivery for an additional fee. 5. Click Continue. You can now review your order and add another item, if necessary. 6. Enter your payment details and click Checkout. Remember: Destination should NOT be AIU if requesting from AIU. 5

Sending to Other Organization/Other Individual 1. Click Other Organization or Other Individual. 2. Select a Delivery Method. Electronic Delivery. Enter the recipient s email address and confirm that it is a valid email address. When the transcript is ready, the recipient will receive an email instructing them how to download it. Paper Transcript. Enter the exact address. You can also select Send via Overnight Delivery. We ship by FedEx for next day delivery. However, please be aware that FedEx does not deliver on Saturdays or Sundays. 3. Next to Processing Time, you have the option to select Send Now or Hold for Grades. Select Hold for Grades if you want to wait until your next semester grades are in before your transcript is delivered. 4. Click Continue. You can now review your order and add another item, if necessary. 5. Enter your payment details and click Checkout. Sending to Yourself 1. Click Yourself. 2. Select a Delivery Method. a.) Electronic Delivery - your email address will populate. To change the email address, you can type over the email address that is already there. When your transcript is ready, you will receive an email with instructions explaining how to download it. b.) Paper Transcript - your address will populate, but you can change it by typing over the address that is already there. You can also select Send via Overnight Delivery. We ship by FedEx for next day delivery. However, please be aware that FedEx does not deliver on Saturdays or Sundays. c.) Next to Processing Time, you have the option to select Send Now or Hold for Grades. Select Hold for Grades if you want to wait until your next semester grades are in before your transcript is delivered. d.) Click Continue. You can now review your order and add another item, if necessary. e.) Enter your payment details and click Checkout. Here's what happens next: Your school will receive your transcript request. They will need to approve the request and upload your transcript (if it's available electronically). Then we will deliver your transcript to your destination or your school will prepare it themselves if it's not available electronically. You can track your order online. 6
