Appendix C: Advanced Ruting Behavir and Use Cases.AV Framewrk allws fr advanced ruting t be cnfigured n the DMPS3 device t supprt a wide variety f cmmercial and educatin applicatins. This appendix explains the different advanced ruting behavirs and prvides sample use cases t shw hw these advanced rutes functin within different.av Framewrk systems. NOTE: Fr mre infrmatin n cnfiguring advanced ruting behavir using the web interface cnfiguratin utility, refer t page 24. NOTE: Output 1 supprts manual rutes nly. Fixed rutes and fllws rutes are nly supprted n ther vide utput channels. Interactive Classrm (Fixed Ruting) When Fixed vide ruting is selected fr a DMPS3 utput channel, the utput channel receives a vide surce frm a chsen input channel nly after the first manual rute is created n the system. Fr example, if Output 2 is cnfigured t receive a fixed vide rute frm Input 6, this rute remains cnstant regardless f any manual rutes that are created n the system. The fllwing use case describes an interactive classrm that uses fixed ruting behavir. System cmpnents: DMPS3 Device: DMPS3-4K-300-C Device inputs Input 1: Instructr PC Input 2: Laptp Input 3: Dcument camera Input 4: AM-101 AirMedia device Input 5: Blu-ray Disc player Device utputs Output 1: Nt used Output 2: Display mnitr (cnfigured fr fixed ruting t Input 1) Output 3: Prjectr (cnfigured fr manual ruting) LAN cnnectin TSW-1060 tuch screen Cresnet cnnectin GLS-ODT-C-CN ccupancy sensr In this use case, the classrm display mnitr (Output 2) is cnfigured t have a fixed rute t the instructr PC (Input 1). This fixed rute remains cnstant even if ne f the ther inputs, such as the Laptp (Input 2), is manually ruted t the prjectr (Output 3) thrugh the.av Framewrk tuch screen prject. 68.AV Framewrk Sftware fr DMPS3 Operatins Guide DOC. 7887G

Twn Hall Meeting Space (Fllws Ruting) When Fllws vide ruting is selected fr a DMPS3 utput channel, the utput channel receives a vide surce frm anther chsen utput channel that is cnfigured fr manual ruting. Fr example, if a user manually rutes vide frm Input 1 t Output 1, and Output 2 is set t fllw Output 1, vide frm Input 1 is als shwn n Output 2. The fllwing use case describes a twn hall meeting space that uses fllws ruting behavir. System cmpnents: DMPS3 Device: DMPS3-4K-200-C Device inputs Input 1: DM-TX-100-C-1G DigitalMedia transmitter Input 2: AM-101 AirMedia device Input 3: Blu-ray Disc player Input 4: Digital signage player Device utputs Output 1: Display mnitr fr speaker (manual ruting) Output 3: DM-RMC-4K-SCALER-C cnnected t large display mnitr fr audience (cnfigured fr fllws ruting t utput 1) LAN cnnectin TSW-1060 tuch screen In this use case, the large display mnitr fr the audience (Output 3) is cnfigured t fllw any manual rute created between an input and the speaker's display mnitr (Output 1) thrugh the tuch screen prject. Fr example, if a manual rute is created between a laptp that is presenting wirelessly via AirMedia (Input 2) and the speaker's display mnitr (Output 1), the vide surce ruted frm the laptp is als ruted t the large display mnitr (Output 3).
