Product Change Notification Change Notification #: 113775-00 Change Title: Selected Intel Server Boards, Intel Server Systems, Intel Compute Modules & Intel Server Chassis PCN 113775-00, Product Discontinuance End of Life Date of Publication: April 17, 2015 Key Characteristics of the Change: Product Discontinuance Forecasted Key Milestones: Last Product Discontinuance Order Date*: Oct 15, 2015 Orders are Non-Cancelable and Non-Returnable After: Jul 15, 2015 Last Product Discontinuance Shipment Date: Feb 1, 2016 * Intel appreciates the customer's desire to receive the latest revision of products. However, Intel manages inventory on a first in first out (FIFO) basis at the MM# level. Subsequently, customer requests for a specific revision of material (below the MM#) will not be supported by Intel. Description of Change to the Customer: Intel is announcing the discontinuance of Selected Intel Server Boards, Systems, and Chassis products listed in the "Products Affected/Intel Ordering Codes" table below. Intel will allow 6 months from the PDA announcement date (April 17, 2015) for orders to be placed (October 15, 2015). For the first 3 months of this period (until July 15, 2015), the orders are of unlimited supply. After July 15, 2015, the orders are not guaranteed to be supported unless the order meets a MOQ of 300 units. All orders are non-cancelable and non-returnable (NCNR) 3 months prior (July 15, 2015) to the last order entry date (October 15, 2015). The last return date is the same as the NCNR date (July 15, 2015).

Distributor stock rotation returns will be accepted up until the NCNR date. NCNR: Non-Cancelable and Non- Returnable date. Intel will make best efforts to support all orders placed between NCNR and FCFS. Deliveries must be accepted within 90 days from the FCFS date. FCFS: First Come First Served Order Date Existing inventory is still orderable, under NCNR terms, and will be filled on a first come first served basis. Intel will discontinue product builds on the FCFS date. Deliveries must be accepted within 90 days. Final purchase orders are non-cancelable and non-returnable, notwithstanding any conflicting terms in our quotes, purchase order acknowledgment or Distributor agreements. Intel reserves the right to change the products because of material source restriction. The products listed in the "Products Affected/Intel Ordering Codes" table below, have been discontinued, and will be unavailable for additional orders after the "Last Product Discontinuance Order Date" (see "Key Milestones" above) OR as soon as current inventories are depleted. All orders will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. For applicable replacement product(s), please see the "Replacement Product" column in table below. Engineering and Support Guidance for Discontinued Products: 1. No new OS, peripheral or adaptor validation is planned during the extended life period. The THOL, supported processor and tested memory lists are frozen at PDA. 2. Intel will provide reasonable commercial efforts in debugging issues during the warranty period for the product after the PDA date has passed. Fixes cannot be committed, but Intel will endeavor to provide reasonable workarounds for the product.
Customer Impact of Change and Recommended Action: Determine your remaining demand for this product and/or evaluate additional sources (if applicable). Lead-times on products with announced product discontinuance can typically stretch to 12 weeks and volumes are not buffered during the PDA period. Please work with your Intel representative on your quarterly demand forecast in order to reduce lead-times to 2-4 Weeks. Please contact your local Intel Sales Office or Distributor if you require more information or need assistance in selecting a replacement product.
