Installation Guide & User Manual Sennheiser HeadSetup for MAC This document describes the installation procedure and the usage of the User Interface (UI) controls of the HeadSetup TM for MAC software. Pre-requisites: Before installing the latest HeadSetup TM for MAC version, user needs to manually uninstall any earlier installed version of HeadSetup TM for MAC. HeadSetup TM for MAC can be launched by clicking on the application shortcut available in the Launchpad as well as in the Applications folder. The application can be terminated by clicking on the Quit option available with the Status bar icon. Installation of HeadSetup TM for MAC Steps to install the HeadSetup TM for MAC software: Place the HeadSetup TM for MAC Installer package Sennheiser_HeadSetup_vX.Y.ZZZZ_Sennheiser_SDK_vX.Y.ZZZZ.pkg on the target machine and double click it. This will launch the installation, as shown in figure 1. Click Continue to proceed. Figure 1 The next window will prompt the user to accept the license agreement. Select Continue to install.

Figure 4 The user authentication window might appear before continuing with the installation. Only users having administrator rights can continue with the installation. Enter the administrator login credentials and click Install Software button to continue. Figure 5 After successful installation, please click on the Close button to complete the installation.
Figure 6 A successful installation will create a Sennheiser folder at /Library/Application Support/, A SenncomSDK folder will be created within the /Library/Application Support/Sennheiser/ folder. The Installer will place a HeadSetup.app file in /Applications folder. Figure 8 Launching the HeadSetup TM for MAC After a successful installation, the installer package will place the HeadSetup TM for MAC application in the /Applications folder as described earlier. You can launch the application either from the Applications folder or from the shortcut available in Launch pad as shown in figure 9. Figure 9: HeadSetup TM for MAC shortcut (icon) appearing in the Launchpad When launching, the application will create a UI icon in the menu bar (as shown in Figure 10). Figure 10: HeadSetup TM for MAC UI icon in menu bar Successful launch of the application can be confirmed by observing the same in the Activity Monitor application (as shown in Figure 11). Enabling/Disabling Auto Launch feature You can configure the application to auto launch at start-up. This is done by toggling the Auto Launch option available in the Status bar (Click on the HeadSetup TM for MAC icon to get options as shown in Figure 12). Figure 12: HeadSetup TM for MAC icon available in the status bar The application is NOT configured to start automatically after the installation. Check mark ( ) on the Auto Launch menu to enable auto launch of the HeadSetup TM for MAC on the subsequent system reboots (Figure 13). Figure 13: Auto Launch of the HeadSetup TM for MAC enabled To disable the auto launch of the application, the Auto Launch menu needs to be unchecked (Figure 14). Figure 14: Uncheck the Auto Launch menu to disable auto launch on reboot If a pop up notification (as shown in Figure 15) is displayed when installing HeadSetup for MAC, user needs to exit all running softphones and relaunch the HeadSetup TM for MAC. Figure 15: Pop-up notification prompting user to exit the softphones Terminating the Application via the UI Terminate the HeadSetup TM for MAC by clicking the Quit option available in the HeadSetup TM for MAC status menu (Figure 16).
