Instructions for Display of Imaging Studies Using Stentor isite Open http://isite.rad.tju.edu in Internet Explorer Log-In: Enter your user name (case Sensitive) and password (case sensitive) and press [return] or click on the Log-In button. (If you do not know your user name or password, left click on the "Access Request" link at the top of the page to access the form to request a user account. A patient selection window of studies performed today will appear:

Selecting Studies to View: Enter the first few letters of the patient s last name in the Patient Name box and press return ofr a list of today s studies. (If you are not sure when the study was performed, select the Study Date box and clear the "Today" entry by depressing any key. This will permit display of all studies performed over the past 2 weeks. Click on the "+" symbol on the left of a patient name to reveal the studies available for review. (Note: You can sort the patient list alphabetically with a left click on the Patient Name bar.) Move your mouse over any study. It will be highlighted. Clicking on the study will cause a check mark to appear in the square to the left of the study indicating that it is selected for review. You may select as many patients and studies as you desire. A green tab will appear at the top of the window with each selected patient s name. Left click on the green tab to reveal the imaging studies that you have selected, if you have selected more than one patient, you can switch between patients by alternating between tabs. The window now displays one or more rows of images. Each row is an imaging study and each window may contain more than one image. Note that the top bar above each image tells the date and time of the study, while the bottom bar indicates the study type and how many images are present in the stack. Image Manipulation: Zoom Image: To enlarge the image, left double click on the image and it will jump fill more of the screen. The scroll button on the mouse can be used to magnify / reduce the portions of the image near the cursor. Click on the "X" in the upper right corner to return the image back into the study rack. You may open multiple images at one time. Brightness / Contrast: While depressing the left mouse button, move the mouse over the image to change brightness or contrast, as desired. If there is more than one image in the window you have selected (e.g. CT or MRI), you can browse through the stack of images by pressing the up/down or right/left arrow keys on the keyboard or by adjusting the roller on a roller mouse equipped PC. To pan across an enlarged image, depress and hold the control (Ctrl) key on the keyboard while holding down the left mouse button over the image and slide in the direction your interested in.

To zoom in on a particular detail on an image, depress and hold the Alt key while depressing and holding the left mouse button and drag down or to the right. Release when you reach the desired result. Pan if necessary to capture the area of interest. Use the large slider bars on the outside of your browser window to reveal additional images for a study or additional studies that you have selected. Double-click the left mouse button on the desired image or imageseries. Left click the image and drag the left mouse button horizontally or vertically, respectively. Default WW/WL, Histogram Calculation and Modality Default values are available for all modalities through the pop-up menus. CT exams will also display preset Window/Level values through the pop-up menu. These values include the Default WW/WL, Abdomen, Brain, Bone, Liver, Lung, Mediastinum and any other custom Window/Levels created by the isite System Administrator on a site-by-site basis. Place your cursor on the window's borders or on the exam-row's bottom margin, left-click and drag. Left mouse-button click on the desired image or image-series. Left mouse-button click. Right mouse-button click on the desired image or image-series. Plain Films: With a wheel-mouse, click and drag the wheel-button. With a two button mouse, click the left mouse-button and drag the mouse while holding down the Control Key. Series: Click the left mouse button and drag the mouse while holding down the Control Key. Plain Films: With a wheel-mouse, roll the mouse wheel back and forth. With a two-button mouse, click the left mouse-button and drag the mouse while holding down the Alt Key. Series: Click the left mouse-button and drag the mouse while holding the Alt Key. With a wheel-mouse, roll the mouse wheel back and forth. With a two-button mouse, press the up and down arrows keys. With a wheel-mouse, click and drag the wheel button. With a twobutton mouse, hold down the up and down arrows keys. Right-click on an image and select the Invert function from the pop-up menu. Deselect in the same manner. Right-click on an image, select the "Flip/Rotate/Sort" function from the pop-up menu and then choose either "Flip Vertical" or "Flip Horizontal" from the sub-menu. Right-click on an image, select the "Flip/Rotate/Sort" function from the pop-up menu and then choose either "Rotate 90 CW" or "Rotate 90 CCW" from the sub-menu.

Right-click on an image, select the "Flip/Rotate/Sort" function from the pop-up menu and then choose "Table Position Ascending","Table Position Descending","Image Number Ascending" or "Image Number Descending." Access these tools through the pop-up menu by right-clicking on an image and selecting the "Annotations" item. Right-click on any MR series which includes the vertebrae and select the Spine Labeling option from the Annotations sub-menu. Click the image where you would like labels inserted in conformance with the Spine Labeling dialog. reports button, then open "Exam Information" from the pop-up menu. The cursor will change to a resize cursor. Click and drag the margin to the desired height (or width if you are working in vertical rack mode).

Right-click on an image and select the "Print to paper" function from the pop-up menu. Right-click on the image you wish to save and select the "Save Image" function from the pop-up menu. Select "to clipboard" or "to file". Click the Logout Arrow Button in the upper right-hand corner of the isite Control Strip.
