Certificate logo I3.1.1 An awarding body must ensure that the design and production of each certificate it issues in relation to a regulated qualification or credit award which it makes available includes the Qualifications Wales logo clearly and distinctly expressed on the front of the certificate. Certificate logo Logo must be used on certificates for all regulated qualifications and credit certificates when awarded to learners assessed in Wales. May be used on certificates for qualifications regulated by Qualifications Wales when awarded to learners outside Wales. May be used on non-credit units but no requirement to do so. Must check other regulators' requirements. QW, Ofqual and CCEA Additional Certificate Requirements state: An awarding body may include other relevant logos, including those of other regulators where appropriate.

Regulation update Recognition and Approval
Scope of recognition We will be writing to all 117 awarding bodies shortly to ask them to confirm the scope of their recognition. We will ask each awarding body to confirm what each has: 'excluded' surrendered withdrawn from their scope since September 2015.
Approvals In total 45 reformed GCSEs and A Levels have been Approved: 2015 subjects: 6 GCSEs and 11 A Levels 2016 subjects: 15 GCSEs and 9 A Levels 2017 subjects: 4 GCSEs so far
