Introducing JARING JARING Communications Sdn Bhd (JCSB) is a wholly owned company of the Minister of Finance, Incorporated (MKD) effective from 1 st Jan 2007 JCSB took over JARING business from MIMOS BERHAD effective from 1 st April 2005 This is part of a restructuring process to enable MIMOS to focus on its R&D activities JCSB is fully licensed by the government through Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) Network Facility Provider (NFP-Individual) mainly for wireless broadband Currently operating wireless broadband service using 2.5 GHz spectrum In the process of rolling out mobile WiMAX service by end of 2008 Network Service Provider (NSP Individual) mainly for Internet bandwidth services Application Service Provider (ASP) mainly for Internet access and VoIP Allocated blocks of 015 numbers for non-geographic Internet Telephony
